"Mingyu." He feels a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah?" He turns around to see Joshua.
"Do your best out there, alright?" He encourages as he gives Mingyu a smile.
Mingyu nods, I'll sing for you. He thought to himself as he walks over to get his electric guitar before preparing to go on stage. He planned to release his first ever solo, with only him, and him alone on the stage, in front of thousands of fans in the stadium, live, instead of having it released online.
He takes a deep breath as he goes up on stage, eyes scanning over the audience. Fans screamed and applauded as Mingyu cleared his throat before strumming his guitar. The big screen behind him turns black, before the words fade into the screen, 'For Wonwoo.'
Mingyu takes a deep breath, mentally telling himself, I hope my song will reach you tonight.
He shuts his eyes as he sung into the microphone. The stage lit up with soft lights, warm and welcoming, before flashing an array of colors. He starts singing before he feels himself breaking a sweat.
"Everything you left behind, became my everything."
"Days keep going with a wound stuck in my heart." Mingyu remembers the days where they would hang out by the beach at night, when the tide was high, stars that spilled across the sky as he held Wonwoo close, not wanting him to catch a cold. Or the days where Wonwoo told him of what he wanted to do after discharging from the hospital. Or the days where they had danced under the moonlight, letting Wonwoo feel Mingyu's warmth as he stood upon Mingyu's feet as the younger led the dance.
"If you pull it out forcefully, it's gonna bleed endlessly, so it's best to leave it alone." How Mingyu wishes for Wonwoo to still be there, with him. How he wished he had been patient with the other then, if only he didn't get angry at him. If only. He regrets letting his anger get the best out of him, he regrets storming out of the ward.
