Crono and Azah find themselves outside it was a sunny day out and they seemed to be near a cliff Crono then goes to the cliff and looks down and sees just sky below. Azah then says, "jeez this place is weird." Crono then says, "also interesting in a way." They look around and sees a giant stone structure like a giant castle. Crono then says, "this must be a library." Azah then says, "it huge." Crono would then look around and sees a door in to the library. They go through it.

Crono and Azah find themselves inside the Library they see what looks like endless giant shelves of books. Crono then says, "look at all these books." Azah then says, "must be a pain to keep sorted." Azah then looks over and sees what looks like a little girl putting a book away on a shelve she had white hair and white eye wearing a brownish robe. Azah then says, "hey there a kid right there." Crono then sees her. She then turns and see Crono she gets spooked and runs away. Crono then says, "there people here lets follow her." They then follow her into the library till she gets to a man wearing Iron Armor. He then says, "what wrong." she then points at Crono. The man then says, "I see go find professor I'll handle him." she runs off into deeper of the library The Man draws an Iron sword out and says, "you wonder in from the outside state your business or is it you want to kill the scholars." Azah then says, "looks like you have to fight." Crono grabs his sword and drops it to the floor and says, "I'm not here to fight." Azah then sigh and says, "boring." The man then says, "ah I see you must came from the outside no." Crono then says, "yeah." The man then picks up Crono's sword and says, "man never seen craftsman ship like this." Crono then follows him into the deep of the library where a bunch of people were they look curious at Crono. The man leads him to an office in the middle and says, "he in here sir." Crono enters the room.

Crono then enters the office and he sees is a middle aged man he has brown hair and hazel eyes with glasses he wears a fancy clothes and a woman with black hair and purple eyes who wears a fancy frilly dress shirt wearing a brown apron her cloths are cover in paint with the little girl. The man then says, "ah our honorable guest from the outside welcome to Sanctuary my name is Professor Darin leader of this place." Crono then says, "my name is Crono Zunder, A Cadet Knight Of Cathedral." Darin then says, "sorry never heard of it but it must be a great place." Crono then says, "Darin." Darin then says, "yes." Crono then says, "how old are you guys." Darin chuckles then says, "so you figure we been here for a long while or out there well we are the Scholars of Aria we been task to keep the knowledge of the past so one day the world when it merges again we can share it with the world I know when I say merge..." Darin then says, "I like your spirit at least." They then see the door open and see an elderly bald old man that is mute he wars white tunic and brown pants. He had a tray of cups and tea kettle. Darin then says, "ah this is Boris he doesn't talk but he make good tea." Crono then says, "hello." Boris then smiles and nods. Darin then says, "Crono how is the world out there."
