The next day I went to work. Ryan handed me a bouquet of red roses.

"What's that??" I asked him frowning.

"Doc?? I thought you were top of your batch.. panong Hindi mo alam Kung ano Ang rosas?" Napakamot pa sa ulo si Ryan.

Halatang pinag loloko nanaman ako.

"Hehe, kidding lang po, pinapabigay daw Po sa inyo, may card pa nga Po oh" Aniya saka umalis na.

I look at roses and put it on my desk, and then open the card.

It's a blank card. Pinagloloko ba ako nito? It has my name on it as a receiver but Wala nang nakalagay sa loob.

I stood up and get ready to work when I saw a familiar figure walking in Mr. Soyoso's room

Kung mamalasin ka nga Naman, I was okay kahit Naman Wala sya. I don't need him. But Ceejay... Should I just say yes to Louise then??

Arg...

"Good morning po" I entered the room and found them so awkwardly quiet.

Is there something wrong?? Then I saw Cole. He's sitting by the small table not far from the old man's bed. Eating a pancit. I mean not actually eating, but... Kaila is constantly shoving spoonful of pansit inside Cole's mouth. I can't help but smile. He look so innocent in front of this girl.

Mabilis Kong binura sa isip ko si Cole at pumunta sa higaan ni Mr. Soyoso.

"Check Lang po Tayo, Tay" I said
"Paki galaw Po Yung daliri nyo tay"

He's recovering fast, and good.

I smiled so wide when he successfully moved all his fingers, we do this everyday, pero tuwang tuwa parin ako sa tuwing ginagawa naming to.

"Magiging okay na Po si Tatay?" Kaila asked.

Nasa tabi ko na pala sya, tahimik siyang nakatingin sa kamay ng kanyang Tatay bago nito hinawakan ng maliliit niyang kamay.

"Oo Naman, Hindi magtatagal kayang kayA ka nang buhatin ni tatay" I said before pinching her cheek, not enough to hurt her.

I bid them goodbye, and before I could exit, I saw Cole looking at me. Pero mabilis din niyang iniiwas ito.

I was walking down the hallway, pabalik na Sana sa emergency room when I heard him calling my name.

"Dr. Elle Jymm Rodriguez"

Nanlamig Ang aking mga kamay, Hindi ko alam Kung bakit ako kinakabahan, pero natatakot parin ako sa paraan ng pagtawag Niya sa akin.

"Yes? Mr. Marcus?" I tried my very best to sound okay, para Hindi Niya makita Ang kaba sa dibdib ko.

Yes, I wanted him to remember me, but I don't think I can afford telling him what I need to tell. Natatakot ako na baka kunin nya Ang anak ko. I know him, and I know that he's capable of raising my son without my help.

Pero tinawag nya Lang Naman ako Diba? Bakit ako kinakabahan?

"Why are you always so calm?" He asked.

"You called me using my full name just to ask that?" I asked calmly, ni walang halong pag ka irita iyong sinabi ko. 

"N...no, I just.. making sure na Tama nga na iyon Ang pangalan mo" galing managalog nito.

Pero still, he couldn't remember me.

"Can we have some coffee together Doctor Rodriguez" he asked again.

"I already had mine, thanks anyway" I again continue to walk, at nasa tabi ko siya habang nag lalakad.

Really? What's with him?? Why does he kept on sticking with me??
