Dead Flowers

you were my home

losing you

was losing my forever home

I was homeless

even since then

and I still haven't found home.

~~~
Our friendship was toxic
And the fumes sperm into my lungs,
Making it hard to breathe.
But I didn't know how to leave,
Without tearing a hole in between our families.
But I was dying
So I left
And I had never breathed air this fresh.
~~~

She held that dime in her hand

And wished for them to come back.

Poor girl thought

A dime thrown into water,

Would be enough to bring them back.

~~~
Whether or not we meet again,
Know that,
Until my last breath,
Until my final word,
Until my last thought,
I'll always love you.
~~~

When you left,

You took my sun

Leaving me in complete darkness

Cold and injured

Why would you take my sun

If you knew that was the only thing

Keeping me warm during the storm.

~~~
And in that moment,
Every bone in her body broke
Every organ in her body exploded
Her heart, shattered into thousands of pieces
As she watched the person she loved the most
Leave her.
~~~

My greatest fear as a kid

Was death

Not my own

But to watch the person I loved so deeply

Die before my eyes

and buried below so deep.

~~~
I'd scream at the top of my sore lungs,
From the bottom of my broken heart,
To every bone that aches in my body,
To my dark mind,
That i loved you.
But you left
