Chapter thirteen :I think I like her

ARTURO'S POV : I'm about to go crazy looking for Alex my vision is already blurry because of the tears I'm trying hard to control if anything happens to Alex I'll never forgive myself this is all my fault if I didn't yell at him he wouldn't have ran away, what if someone kidnapped him or something, or worse ,Samuel placed his hand on my shoulder to calm me down
"Arturo relax don't lose hope yet I'm sure Alex is around here somewhere."
"But where is he Samuel,he's still so little what if he doesn't find his way home what if something happened to him."
"Arturo stop Alex is going to be fine."
"I hope so......"

*****************Meanwhile**************
AVA'S POV: Alex seemed to be having conflicted emotions and knowing how Arturo is he's probably worried sick about him.
"But pretty tìa i want to stay with you won't you let me stay with me daddy doesn't want me i know he doesn't want me he wants me to leave ."
"Alex that's not true your daddy loves you,love is something that can't be bought ,he can't buy the love he feels for you, sometimes when parents get stressed they lash out ,it doesn't mean that they don't love you or that,they are angry ,they just need some time to cool off ,please tell me where you live your dad will be worried.
"I live at arvida parkway,FL house number 6."i felt relief rush through me ,i quickly et in the front seat and start driving given the address that alex gave me his house is barely 2 blocks away.
***************Meanwhile****************
SAMUEL'S POV: I'm trying not to let my worry show as i watch Arturo pace in all honesty I'm just as scared as he is , Alex could be anywhere anything could happen i silently pray for his safe return.
"Samuel i can't sit and wait anymore I'm going to drive around the neighborhood and see if i can find Alex he couldn't have gone far ." i know that nothing i say would make him stay and honestly i would feel more comfortable knowing that he was searching for him even though he had already alerted the police despite my warnings
"Okay I'll stay home just in case Alex comes back ." i don't think he heard me because he just grabbed his keys and rushed out. I took a seat in the parlor and kept my eyes fixed on the front door.
15 minutes later.....
I heard someone ring the doorbell ,thinking it was Arturo i rush to the door and opened the door,i was pleasantly surprised by what more like who i saw ,it's the lady i painted ..Mrs Preston i think her name was Ava , yes that's definitely it and she's carrying Alex who seemed to have fallen asleep .
"Good evening is this Arturo San Gorgorio's house?"
"Yes..it is but who are you ad what are you doing with my nephew?"
"Oh you're he's brother..that's hard to believe i am Ava Preston i was dropping my friend off at home when Alex here ran in front of my car." I felt blood drain from my face at the thought of Alex almost being hurt ,but before i was able to ask she seemed to read my mind and said
"No need to worry Alex is unharmed though he scraped his knee and elbow he's otherwise unharmed you can take him inside and I'll be on my way." I can tell by the way she's trying to leave and the faint blush on her cheek that she didn't want to meet Arturo. I stretch out my arms to take Alex from her ,she turned to give him to me but Alex apparently didn't want to let go ,i would love to see the look on Arturo's face when he sees that Ava rescued Alexander though knowing Arturo he would probably blame Ava for it ,it was so exhilarating to see that someone was able to rile Arturo.
"Do you know what i think it's better you just wait for Arturo to come back." She started shaking her head and moving back heading to the door till she realized that Alex was still in her hands and stopped
"I don't really think mr San Gorgorio would want to see me and i would rather avoid any confrontation from him so i would like to leave before he gets here."
"Non sense there is no need for that, please stay I'm sure Arturo will love to thank you for saving his son if he says anything disrespectful i give you my permission and full support to slap him." She smiled and i paused for a while her smile is beautiful, just one tiny smile and it brightens up her entire countenance,no wonder she affected Arturo she's beautiful, realizing I was staring i stepped aside and allowed her to enter ,i direct her to the living room and she takes a seat Alex still in her arms and he looked really tired.
"Excuse me i need to phone Arturo and tell him that Alex is home before he goes crazy searching for him." I walk straight into the hallways and dialed Arturo's number ,he picked up almost instantly.
"Hermano tengo algo que decirte (brother i have something to tell you)."
"What happened has Alexander come home yet?"
"Sì someone brought Alex home "i can almost hear the relief pass through his body.
"Is he okay? Is he hurt? Who found him? What condition was he in?"
"Arturo cálmte por favor , una pregunta a la vez."( calm down please, one question at a time)
"Never mind I'm coming home right now I'm not far from there."before i could say another word he hung up i almost laugh thinking of how surprised Arturo would be when he found out about Ava ,he really didn't give her enough credit for her looks that woman is positively stunning and Alex seems to really like her ,in fact i think i like her already ..hurry home Arturo
