8:15 A.M.

Maria got to the school as fast as she could. As she reached her three friends she stood there out of breath trying to speak. Elena looked at her friend and sighed: "Breathe first then talk."

"I-have-another-another-n-note," Maria uttered as she handed her three friends the note.

"The key is the necklace, don't deny destiny. She will appear if you give up the necklace boy." Elena read.

   "Not this again." Peter sighed.

"Is this talking about that necklace you carry around everywhere?" Steve asked Peter.

"That necklace is nothing. That's not what they mean." Peter responded sounding hostile.

"Dude relax, it was just a question." Elena calmed.

Steve saw Peter's wallet sticking out of his pocket, so he grabbed it and opened it to get the necklace out. Peter quickly responded trying to get it back but Steve was too fast.

"Well I guess you gave up on it, the only thing here is money," Steve stated.

"What?" Peter spoke as he took his wallet back. "There is no way, it's always here. Where did it go?"

Peter was starting to panic, his ears turned as red as blood and he was starting to hyperventilate.

"Peter relax, we'll buy a new one," Elena spoke.

"No! That necklace was the only thing..." Peter couldn't finish his sentence. He looked around then went into the teacher's office.

"He lost it." Steve noted, "and by it, I mean his mind."

8:30 A.M.

When class started, Miss Angelina told the students to let their bags out and get everything out of them. She also wanted the students to empty their pockets.

"Yeah, he lost it big time," Steve spoke.

Peter stood next to his teacher as the students emptied their belongings. The thing that shocked everyone was what Maria pulled out of her pocket. It was a silver necklace with a small charm.

The moment Peter saw that necklace he went up to Maria and snatched it from her hands. Maria stood there shaken up, it was like she was in a trance, meanwhile, Peter looked betrayed.

"Peter, is that your stolen necklace?" Miss Angelina asked.

"It is," Peter replied looking furious.

"Maria, would you like to explain why that necklace was in your pocket?" Miss Angelina asked as the whole class looked at Maria, waiting for an answer.

Maria looked at Peter then at her teacher and answered: "Miss, I promise I have no idea how it ended up in my pocket."

"Well then, maybe a trip to the principal's office might remind you." Miss Angelina spoke, looking broken-hearted herself.

Maria got up and went to the door. As she passed Peter she felt him looking at her in betrayal, but she didn't know what to say.

When Maria left the class Miss Angelina told the students to pack their stuff and get ready for class. Elena looked at Peter and whispered: "You know she was telling the truth. You heard what the doctor said."

"Stealing is wrong, even if she is psychologically ill," Peter replied in a hostile manner.
