Chapter 1 {When the Rain Falls}

Ladybug and Chat Noir had just finished fighting the villain, Chameleon for the hundredth time that week. Every time they thought she would stop akumatizing herself, Lila just kept coming back. Her attacks were so predictable, Ladybug and Chat Noir knew all her attacks and moves, nothing was a surprise to them. Lila was flustered and angry, she began running back to wherever place she had come from.

"Pound it," Chat Noir held at a fist waiting for LB to "pound" him back!

What was that feeling? Chat Noir took his prideful stance as always, one hand on his waist and another waiting for her to fist bump. LB was in love with Adrien, so why did she feel this way? Butterflies fluttered around her stomach as her fist grew closer to Chat Noir's.

"Pound it," Ladybug quickly fist bumped Chat Noir.

He frowned, "Did I do something wrong, Milady?"

Ladybug felt bad, and frankly she didn't know what was wrong. She was nervous and her butterflies wouldn't settle. All she knew is that she had to get out of there, for one she was going to detransform soon and she needed to sort out what was happening here!

Ladybug laughed nervously, "Um nothing! I just have to go, bug out!" And she zipped away, onto the buildings into the distance. Chat Noir watched her go until you could no longer see her, then he took out his staff and left a little gloomy.

Ladybug finally arrived at her balcony and de-transformed back into her civilian self, Marinette. She fell into her hatch and landed on her bed, laying her back on her bed. Tikki floated out from Marinette's pocket and looked concerned.

"Marinette... What was that back there," Tikki questioned Marinette?

Marinette took a large breath and huffed, "I am not sure." She sat up, "I mean, I love Adrien, right?"

Tikki formed a frown, "I'm not sure Marinette, I can't help you. I wish I could but, kwami's can't fall in love..."

Marinette took a deep sigh, "Yeah I know."

Marinette got up from her bed and grabbed her diary, she sat at her desk and began to write. She was hoping that writing things down would help her deal with what she was feeling, it usually did but this time Marinette wasn't so lucky.

Suddenly it started to rain, the water poured down against her hatch above her bed, Marinette was always worried that water might drip on her bed, but it never did. It was pouring cats and dogs out there; she was lucky she got back the time she did, or she could've got caught in the rain!

A knock came from the hatch above Marinette's bed. Tikki flew into Marinette's pockets as she peeked out her head only to see Chat Noir standing there, freezing. He was hugging himself to try and keep himself warm. His leather suit was shining and smooth in the rain, his hair was flat against his head and he seemed like he was a little glum.

"Oh no! Did Ladybug make him sad," Marinette thought, she was panicking on the inside!?

"Kitty! Come inside now," Marinette grabbed his arm and yanked him down into her room!

She left him on the bed and grabbed some towels from earlier when she forgot to put them up. There had been an emergency akuma alert, she didn't have time to put up the towels! Marinette wrapped Chat Noir in a towel and led him down to her main room.

He looked around and frowned, "I'm sorry Marinette, I'm not sure what I'm doing here...I'll just leave." He started towards the hatch when Marinette jumped in front of him with her hands out to the side, almost like a dam to keep the water out. Except it was keeping Chat Noir in.

Marinette laughed nervously, "You can't go out there now! It's pouring outside! Just stay with me until it stops raining."

A smile came upon his face, he took a thorough look around her room and headed to her desk. Marinette scratched her head until she realized...HER DIARY! She ran to her desk and tried to grab the book, but Chat Noir had swiped it first.

"Ooo what is this little book," He teased?

Marinette's eyes widened, if he looked inside that book all her secrets would be revealed! He would find out she was Ladybug and that she may or may not have feelings for him!

She tried grabbing the book, but he just waved it around in the air, he was way too tall. Marinette jumped on his toes in order to reach the book, instead Chat Noir fell back into her desk. Marinette took the book and put it away before going to help Chat Noir.

Marinette began helping Chat Noir up until she heard her parent's footsteps advancing to her room, they were screaming for Marinette asking if she was, okay? She turned back to Chat Noir and yanked him to her closet, she put him in there and shut the doors in his face! She took a deep breath and prepared for the questions coming her way!

Her parents poked their heads up in her room and looked around, her eyes followed their eyes. Until her eyes laid upon her broken desk and the mess around it.

"What happened here," Tom exclaimed?!

Sabine interjected, "Hunny, are you okay?" Sabine had a concerned frown on her face. Meanwhile, Tom was trying to figure out how on earth she could break her desk in half?

Marinette searched her mind frantically hoping to find a reason how or why she did this. All she could focus on was that Chat Noir was hiding in her closet, a boy, hiding. If her parents found him, it could look extremely bad!

"I accidentally tripped and fell into it," Marinette blurted out!

Sabine looked a little confused, "Okay...we'll get you another one soon." Tom and Sabine had no choice but to believe Marinette, so they closed her bedroom hatch and left.

Marinette finally let out the breath she had been holding and immediately opened the closet doors. Chat Noir had been sitting down waiting for her to come and get him, his face lit up when he saw Marinette.

Chat Noir got up and walked back into her room, "Sorry about the mess, I'll pay for a new desk..."

Marinette smiled, "It's fine! So do you want to watch a movie, it looks like the rain still hasn't stopped?"

"Sure, but only if I get to pick," Chat Noir grinned.

Marinette smiled and grabbed her iPad, she proceeded to navigate to the app "Netflix" and handed it to Chat Noir. While he was picking, Marinette turned off the lights and climbed onto her bed.

"I hope you're alright with watching it on my bed," She asked?

Chat Noir nodded and climbed up as well, he set the iPad down on her bed and played the movie. He and Marinette proceeded to get comfortable and wait for the movie to load.

Once the movie started playing Marinette knew exactly what it was, "Are you serious? Mean girls?" Marinette rolled her eyes.

"What? What's wrong with Mean Girls? I thought it would be nice to have a laugh, I thought you would like this kind of stuff," He laughed!

Marinette smiled and rolled her eyes, "Just shut up and watch the movie dork!"
