Marinette had made her way back home; she was still very upset. Her thoughts circling around her head like a toy train. Marinette sat on her balcony still crying her eyes out. She would never intentionally hurt Luka, but she'd already done a great job at hurting him. Maybe she should've told him the truth instead of lying? Maybe they would still be friends if she hadn't lied? Wait! Were they even still friends?

Tikki floated out of Marinette's purse with a concerned expression painted on her face, "Marinette, you have to get ahold of yourself! I know you feel sad about Luka, but you don't want to get akumatized!"

Marinette tried to contain her emotions, but instead more came flowing out. She sobbed, tears flowing out like a waterfall. Tikki tried to wipe the tears off Marinette's face but there were too many falling out continuously. This had gone on for a while until Marinette ran out of tears and now the only thing left was the sound of Marinette's sniffles.

Moments later a notification came from Marinette's phone. She reached over to grab her purse and pulled out her phone. Her phone was pink and had a ladybug charm on it.

The notification read, "AKUMA ALERT! Seek shelter and stay hidden until Ladybug and Chat Noir defeat the villain!"

Marinette sighed and transformed, "Tikki, Spots on!"

Ladybug roamed the streets until she found Chat Noir. He had already been fighting the villain for who knows how long! Ladybug recognized the villain, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it!

Ladybug jumped down to help fight the villain. Chat Noir jumped around and any chance he got; he struck the villain with his staff!

"Nice of you to join me, Ladybug," Chat Noir shouted. He was moving around a lot, so it was a little hard to hear him.

Ladybug became concerned, "You didn't call me M'lady.... Is everything alright?" She tried to be loud enough so Chat Noir could hear her, she was already out of breath with all the jumping!

Chat Noir stopped in his tracks, "Yeah I'm fine! There's just been a development." He scratched the back of his neck.

Truth had seen Chat Noir; he was an easy target. Out in the open with no protection whatsoever.

Ladybug saw and leaped in front of Chat Noir, "Watch out!" She had never meant to "catch" the power, she had only hoped to move Chat Noir out of the way in time.

Truth grinned, "Who does Marinette love?" He asked Ladybug, he had known that Marinette and Ladybug had some encounters. They must be friends or at least tell each other some things!

"Marinette's in love with Chat Noir," Ladybug confessed, she had white lipstick on her lips. She didn't want to say it, but it just happened. Ladybug had no control on what she said, she barely had control over her own body.

Chat Noir grinned, he couldn't wait to rub it in Marinette's face later! He knew she was in love with him. It was a good thing for him as well, he was in love with her too.

Truth's grin fell into a frown, "Now I need something to cheer me up. Ladybug, who are you in love with?" Truth asked. Now that he knew Marinette's love, he could use Ladybug's love against her.

Ladybug tried her best to keep her mouth shut but the words just slipped through the tiniest hole, "I'm in love with Chat Noir." Ladybug fell out of Truth's spell. She took deep breaths; she couldn't believe she said that out loud! She looked at Chat Noir, he stood there with his mouth open. He stared at her right in the face.

Chat Noir had gotten lost in the moment, he didn't help Ladybug. He was too focused on himself to remember that he had a job to do! He didn't want to know this information, but now that he knows he had to make a choice now. He's been chasing after Ladybug this whole time and now that he finally fell in love with Marinette, Ladybug revealed she had feelings for him! This was too much! He just wanted to defeat the villain and go home to think!

Ladybug and Chat Noir broke free from their thoughts and continued to try and defeat the villain. Truth put up a hard fight and refused to go down. If they were close to defeating him, he would run away until they caught up with him again!

After they defeated Truth, Ladybug tried to talk to Chat Noir, but he just leapt away. She decided to do the same, and maybe later he might come by her house.

Marinette went home and slept, waiting for Chat Noir to come and see her. Maybe he wouldn't come see her? All Marinette could do was hope. She dreamed of Chat Noir and herself hanging out. He knew her identity and she knew his! He was Adrien Agreste, her old crush. It was all perfect.

Marinette woke up and gasped! Adrien Agreste is Chat Noir?! He couldn't be...right? No, no...he can't! It was just a dream, just a dream. Suddenly a knock came from above her, she wasn't expecting anyone.

Marinette opened the hatch and there stood Chat Noir. She was glad he came, she wanted to see him. She wanted to be able to hug him, and smell him, and sleep next to him. Most of all she wanted to be able to date him. He was her prince charming; he was her lucky charm; he was her one and only. For a long time, she thought that her one and only was Adrien, but maybe it was Chat Noir. She hoped it was Chat Noir!

"Kitty! Come in," She said delighted!

Chat Noir jumped down on her bed and snuggled down next to Marinette. She smiled and laid down next to him. His warmth was her home, it was her peace, it was her quiet. He was clearly gloomy, and Marinette knew exactly why.

To Chat Noir, Marinette was his life, his love, his everything. He loved her with every bone in his body. It was much too soon, they weren't even dating yet, but he knew he loved her. But how much did he love Ladybug? Was it more? Was it less? Or was it the same amount of love he has for Marinette? That's why he came here, this was his safe place. He tried going home to think, but it all just came up blank. At Marinette's house everything was clear, everything was perfect!

"Kitty...Is everything okay," Marinette asked nervously.

Chat Noir looked down at her face, she was looking at him. To have a proper conversation he needed to let her go, but he didn't want to.

He sighed, "Yeah I'm fine, Princess." Marinette pushed him away and repositioned herself, so she was looking at him in the face.

"Are you sure, Kitty," She needed reassurance, she needed to know that what Ladybug said didn't change anything!

Chat Noir pulled Marinette into the warmth of his body, "I'm fine Princess, I just want to be here with you."

Marinette smiled, and soon after fell asleep into Chat Noir's arms. Chat Noir stayed up thinking, he either loved Marinette or Ladybug. He couldn't have both. Or could he? No that was stupid thinking! It would basically be cheating! He needed to choose! But if he chose Marinette, wouldn't things be awkward between him and Ladybug? That would break his heart!

Marinette made him feel warm, and at home. She made him feel like the luckiest man in the world, he would give his own life to protect Marinette! How did he feel about Ladybug now that he knows she loves him? Did it even make a difference?

It did not. He felt nothing there, just like when he realized he loved Marinette. He felt nothing more for Ladybug but pure friendship, he never thought that could change! He had his answer, but how was he going to tell Ladybug? He would tell Marinette first, while she was asleep.

Chat Noir hugged Marinette tighter, "I choose you, my princess." He said softly, he meant every word. It slipped off his tongue easily, he could say it his whole life. He wanted to say it his whole life. He wanted to spend his whole life with her.
