Chapter 5 {A Late Night Visit}

Chat Noir left Marinette's house and, using his staff, swung across Paris, droplets of water dripping off his leather suit and slipped through this room window.

"Plagg claws in". He transformed and flopped onto his bed. "Today's been the best day of my life, Plagg". I finally talked to Ladybug and we remained friends". A smile creeping up his face."You know kid I respect you for that, for picking Marinette and getting over Ladybug" .

"Why so Plagg?" " I mean you just seemed a bit overwhelmed when Ladybug told you she loved you, no offence kid but you looked really scared".

"Plagggg"."I guess it was a bit overwhelming but I'm glad I picked Marinette"."This boy has no idea"."What was that Plagg?" "Oh nothing" as he gulped down a large slice of cheese.

It's now midnight and both Marinette and Adrien are still up. They both can't sleep.

"Tikki are you up?". "Hmm". "Oh, sorry Tikki I thought you might have been awake, never mind"."What's the matter Marinette?.I'm up"."Oh, it was just that i'm really excited to see Chat again. I miss him and he's only been gone for a little while". "Marinette, there are always opportunities where Chat Noir will come and see you. You seem like you need a bit of rest. You need to sleep early so you won't be late for the delivery".

Marinette giggled and went under her covers and said. "I nearly forgot about the delivery so thanks Tikki". "You're welcome Marinette. Goodnight". "Goodnight Tikki".

Adrien sat up and took a look out of his window. "Should I go to see Marinette?". "Kid it's after 1:00 am go to sleep". "Please Plagg just this once. I'll give you extra cheese if you let me go"."Ugh, Fine just this once but I better see a stack of the moldiest camembert tomorrow right on the table. Deal?" "Deal".

"Plagg claws out". Chat, while using his staff to guide him through the city of Paris he landed on Marinette's balcony. He knocked on the door. "Hello?" No response. He knocked again and again with no response.

"What was I thinking she wouldn't be awake at this time. I should check on her though".

After hearing the latch open slightly Tikki flew fast making sure Chat Noir didn't see her and right into Marinette's purse she went.

He opened the latch and saw Marinette sleeping peacefully.She looks so beautiful he thought to himself. The moon light shone directly onto Marinette's face through the latch and she groaned, grabbed her sheets and threw it over her head.

Chat Noir burst into tears, laughing thinking how adorable she was. He laughed a bit too loud and Marinette pulled the covers off her face and in shock jumped and fell off her loft bed but to her luck Chat Noir caught her in time.

"Chat Noir what are you doing here and what time is it?!". "It's 2:34 princess. I just came to check up on you". "Chat next time you come to check up on me don't stare at me like that".

"But your face is too stunning to look away princess".

Marinette blushed a bright red and tried to hide her face. "Chat..You scared me to death what would've happened if you didn't catch me huh. Dumb kitty",she said while beating Chat chest with her fists".

Chat Noir pulled her hands away and grabbed her, giving her a warm bear hug. Marinette, stunned by the action, froze up for a bit, her heart beating rapidly.She soon melted into Chat's warm embrace. They stayed in that position for a while until Marinette fell asleep once again.

Chat got up carrying Marinette bridal style and laid her gently onto the bed making sure not to wake her up, he moved her bangs to the side and kissed her forehead. "Night night princess".

Getting a piece of paper and Marinette's pen he wrote: Sorry for scaring you princess, Love your Kitty~

Chat left Marinette's house making sure to tuck her in and slid through his room window.

"Claws in". "I'm tired kid, time to sleep for real now ok?" "Ok Plagg. Goodnight". "Goodnight Adrien".

"Adriiiieeen, Adrien, Adrien, Adrien wake up now!". "Hm, what is it Plagg?" "My camembert. I need it now". "Plagg couldn't you wait a bit". "Nope a deal is a deal kid. Now camembert".
"Ok Plagg ok".

Adrien ordered five boxes of the moldiest camembert he could find. "Plagg, I got your cheese. Are you happy now?" "Yes, very happy. Do not touch my camembert or i'll kill you".
"Plagg, No one wants your stinky cheese". "Hmph".

Adrien's Pov:
I got up, went straight to the shower, took my pyjamas off and turned on the shower, a stream of water flowing and running down my body. I like taking showers.They let me clear my head and normally, I get inspiration for my next cat puns while just standing letting the water get all over me.

I ran my fingers through my hair, washing it and my mind went straight to Marinette. That girl is amazing and not to mention really adorable.Last night I learned that she's not one to take her sleep lightly. She was so cute while sleeping. A blush made its way onto my face. I love her.

"Marinette, Marinette wake up. You're going to be late for the cake delivery". "Tikkkkiiii, five more minutes". "Marinette I repeat you're going to be late for the delivery". "Huh what delivery?" "OH NO, OH NO, I'm going to be late again!"
