All I know is,
I've lived this life. So long and questionable. As a monster. No doubt. Unaffected, even in slumber.
All I know is,
that when a glimpse, of humanity fluttered it's wings in front of me, oh so arrogantly, I dared to reach out my hand.
All I know is , I dared to touch it.
To grasp something I couldn't be afforded.
But I cracked a smile.
My thoughts content.
All I know, is
in the end it seemed I no longer was bitter over the one thing
I could never have.
That is all I know.
