nini sat down at her small piano tucked in a corner behind a big plant. she set up her phone to record any ideas that popped into mind.
"i'm sorry..." she started, imagining possible scenarios that could happen with ricky, "screaming from the drivers seat. unhappy but i cannot leave."
she started again, "'i'm sorry' screaming from the drivers seat, unhappy but i just refuse to leave. this isn't love but it kinda feels like it.. is." nini wiped a stray tear. she wasn't sad, she was confused. so confused.
"'i loved you' you're yelling back at me, 'i know babe, but i just gotta leave' staring at the pavement so you won't stare at me," the words came to her effortlessly today, "and we're hopeless but not the romantic type, you'd yell but i yell louder, "loving isn't worth the hype if i'm not loving you.'"
nini smiled, she liked that. "but if your not loving then i can't love you too. i guess i will settle for never loving you. and i guess i will never be enough for you." she had totally just turned anger into a sad song, but she liked it.
