"epilepsy?! so you're saying that when i pushed her o-out of the way she fell so hard it gave her fucking epilepsy?"

"mr bowen, let's be quiet, okay?" by now, ninis doctor had left the room, leaving just ricky and a nurse.

the one thing ricky felt, was not pain, he had some pretty good meds, but confusion.

i try to ghost nini, forget about her, then i try to save her life, and end up giving her epilepsy. great.

meanwhile, in hospital room 69

"my granddaughter does not have epilepsy, nimrods! she has never had a seizure before! you're too young to be a doctor." nini's grandmother shouted at the head of neurology. this was no greys anatomy episode, ninis case didn't magically have an effect and cause her doctor to have a mental breakdown, apparently epilepsy is so common.

"mrs, i need you to calm down." doctor thomas calmly said to the older woman.

"i will sue you and this hospital!"

nini was laying in a new bed, helpless. couldn't move - well, didn't want want to move - and all she wanted to do was wake up from this terrible dream.

let me explain, you're probably confused.

when ricky pushed nini out of the way, she landed on her side. fracturing her hip, and giving her a pretty bad concussion. but the odds weren't in her favor, as nini has a tbi (traumatic brain injury), often times having a tbi can give a patient epilepsy.

epilepsy; a disorder in which nerve cell activity in the brain is distributed, causing seizures.

no cure.

nini swallowed the big white pill and smiled softly at the intern that was assigned to nini.

"can i have some pen and paper?" nini asked quietly.

the intern nodded and pulled a pen out of his front pocket and grabbed a piece of notebook paper from the notebook he was carrying around, for whatever reason.

nini mumbled a quick thanks and began to write her letter to ricky.

her hand lightly shook as she tried to write as neatly as she could.

nini sighed as she set her pencil down, and leaning back to press the nurse button. a nurse came rushing in, disappointed to see nothing wrong with her.

"hi, i'm sorry, but can you please give this note to richard bowen? he was in the same accident as me?"

the nurse angrily grabbed the note and stomped out of the room.
