Kakashi was wary, confused and his emotions were all over the place. The letter was one thing, the cold and quiet Naruto was another or no? Was it all connected somehow? He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts but it was easier said than done. Everything was wrong here, it was supposed to be easy. He just had to keep an eye on the boy in the C-Rank mission, and determine if he was a flight-risk shinobi then just continue analysing his movements and if anything were to go wrong then he should be disposed of.
Of course, it would seem much harder than it sounded because he was his sensei's son.. But the fear of the Kyubi destroying everything overruled that. But, that does not change the fact that everything was a mess!
He looked over at Tazuna and his men, continuing to talk about the bridge. He sighed, he's been sighing a lot lately that isn't good.
He has a feeling that there is something more to all of this, like there was a bigger picture that he couldn't see or he can't see. Not supposed to anyway, if he had to guessed it had something to do with Naruto unfortunately there is little to no evidence about that.
'I wonder what could he be doing right now?'

'Shit!' Was the simultaneous thought me and Kurama had. I was so focused on practicing I forgot to scout the area, how careless of me! What would Madara-sama think? 'Geez, kid can you stop bringing that Uchiha master of yours every time you make a mistake?'
'I apologize'
"Oh, hey Sakura-chan what'r you doing here?" I asked too cheerily for a Jinchuuriki. I took in her form which had some sticks and dirt on the hen of her dress, long with those was a scratch on her cheek. Wonder what she was up to?
"Na-Naruto-Baka! How did y-you do that!" For someone so smart in the Academy, she becomes dumb when it comes to things like these for some reason. I rub my hand on my nape and said "A-Ah! Well, you.. See, yesterday. I was training!" Who the hell would believe this dumb lie? I could see her look at me dumbfoundedly and realization dawning on her face. Has she realized it was a lie?
"O-Oh, that makes sense. Ha! I guess you exhausted your chakra yesterday that's why you were acting like that weren't you?" She laughed, and I stare at her dumbly. There was no way, she believed that and exhausted my chakra? Even if I did, chakra exhaustion doesn't affect have affects like that! Why isn't she using her brain?
'It's cause, kit. She's been flocking over that Uchiha youngster, her brain turned to mush. Now she can't seem to use it'
I shook my head and sighed, looking back at her. She had a questionable look on her face, I gave her a big smile and said "Well, then Sakura-chan! I'll see you" And with that I disappeared.
{Very Small Timeskip}
As I made my way to a clearing, I sat down on the ground. I sigh, hah this was getting too much. How can my team be so, like this? What is going on with Konoha? I've seen their guards when we went outside, they barely even show interest in anything except rasing a brow at me.
"Do you think Konoha has any hope, Kurama?"
'Maybe, but with the troublesome old bones around it might not'
Sighing, again I stood up. It's time for training.
{An hour later}
I grunted as I fought off against 5 of my shadow clones. I grabbed one of the kunai's embedded into the tree, swinging it forward and then upward. 2 down, 3 more to go.
