-Lucy's POV-
He may be acting different.
But he is still Natsu.
My Natsu.
Natsu sighs then waves his hand in the air as if saying 'whatever'. Elfman lets out a sigh of relief, and starts to quietly celebrate the fact his life has been spared.
A few moments later, the lights shut off, and the light above the stage turns on. I look to see Master walking out onto the stage holding a small scroll of paper.
Master jumps up onto the podium, and lightly taps the microphone to make sure it is on.
Before he starts speaking, he quietly clears his throat.
"Brats" Master starts as he opens the small scroll.
"I have officially chosen the members who will partake in this year's S-Class trials" He finishes, earning a bunch of quiet gasps across the guild.
Everyone watches, hoping their names will be called this year.
"First participant, Cana Alberona" Master says.
Even in the dark, I can see a determined look spreads across Cana's face.
Since last years S-class trials weren't properly finished, no one got chosen to be s-class, so let's just hope this year is better.
"Second Participant, Gray Fullbuster"
Still in the wall, Gray gives a thumbs up, which makes us laugh quietly.
"Third participant, Gajeel Redfox"
Gajeel quietly does his signature 'Gihee'.
"Fourth participant, Elfman Strauss"
"Yeah! I'm a real man!!" Elfman yells.
"Shut it ya big lug" Evergreen whispers as she smacks elfman with her fan.
"Fifth participant, Freed Justine"
Freed smiles a little, and nods his head once as if saying he accepts the challenge once again.
"Sixth participant, Wendy Marvell"
A look of suprise spreads across Wendy's face.
She was chosen last year, so it's amazing she was chosen this year too.
"Seventh participant, Natsu Dragneel"
Natsu gives his signature smile which makes my heart skip a small beat.
"And the Eighth participant, Lucy Heartfilia"
...
