Never Again (MikaYuu)

CH 17: Kidnapped

Third person point of view:

"Any news?"

"I'm sorry, Yuu kun. But no. No one saw Mikaela san since yesterday." The brunette says, and Yuuichiro messes up his hair while groaning in frustration.

"If only i went after him last night, he won't be missing right now! What if he got kidnapped? This is all my fault." Yuuichiro says, distress noticable in his voice.

" We'll find him. Even if we don't, we will get him back in matter of time, Yuu kun. I hope you can be patient." Yoichi says, persuading him though the raven doesn't take it in that way.

" Yes, Yoichi. We will get him, but have you seen the victims? They are badly hurt. Mika is my family and I don't want my family to get hurt. " Yuuichiro says, gripping the hem of his shirt.

The brunette's eyes soften, as he nods at the raven. "We will find him, okay?" He tells the raven. Yoichi pats his back gently.

He wants to have a talk with the headmaster about it. The kidnapping happens inside the school, and there's no way that the school don't take any action about the issue. It's totally not a minor one, students are missing and they even get hurt.

So he heads towards the main office, coincidentally bumping into Shinya as he does.

"Yuu? What's your business here?" Shinya asks. Yuu is not one to go near the office without an issue, and Shinya knows that much.

"Mikaela is missing." He answers shortly.

"Your mate? So what are you doing here? You should go find him." Shinya says, but Yuu rolls his eyes. Not that he means being rude, he's just too bothered by Mikaela's disappearance.

"I searched for him. Everywhere. But i never finds him. No one have seen him at all after last night. " Yuu says, looking down.

" When do you realize that he has gone missing?" Shinya asks. "On the same night. I went to look for him since he never came back even after midnight. And i found his books scattering on the floor in the hallway."
The raven explains.

Shinya holds the raven's face, bringing it up to meet his eyes. "So you finds him all night?" Shinya asks gently. Yuuichiro looks horrible. There is bags under his eyes, and his sclera are a bit red in color, maybe because the lack of sleep he is getting. His skin feels dry and his lips are slightly chapped too.

Yuuichiro averts his gaze and nods slowly. Shinya pats his head, smiling at him. "Eat and get some sleep, Yuu. I'll handle this for you. You want to report Mikaela's disappearance, right? I'll let the headmaster know. Go back to your dorm and rest, alright? I'm sure Mikaela don't want you to worry until you get sick."

" But i must save him! They will hurt him for sure, Shinya!" The raven tries, but Shinya shush him, putting his index finger to the raven's lips.

"Sorry to break it to you, knight in shining armor. But there is nothing you can do about it. We will have to wait. So go head to your dorm now. I don't want your health to subside. Everything will be fine, i promise. " Shinya says.

The raven head finally complies, nodding weakly in defeat. He turns back, leaving Shinya standing in the hallway alone.

Everything hurts.

His wrist are bind with chains, and he is inside a room with a thick glass separating him from his kidnappers. It seems that they are experimenting with the vampire's limit, as he's stabbed with different types of metal and iron, before left to heal himself again.
