Never Again (MikaYuu)

CH 25: Leave

Third person point if view:

   That raven's eyes cracks open, and he lifts his head, looking around. He didn't realize when he fell asleep. He slept against Mikaela's bed, and he notices the blonde's blanket covering his body. Talking about Mikaela.

He's not here.

He probably leaves to cool down or something. But it's so nice of him to cover him with blanket despite their argument, though.

Perhaps Mikaela isn't that mad.
Or he simply still cares about Yuuichiro's well being despite being mad.

   Yuuichiro gets up, scanning around the room for the blonde's figure but he don't find him. Checking the doorstep, he realize that Mikaela's out.

  "Really? At this hour?" The raven groans into his palm. He has not got the chance to explain things to Mikaela yet. Just when he turns around from his door, someone knocks on it.

   "Yes?" He opens the door, eyes meeting with crimson red ones.

   "Hello, Yuuichiro." Rene greets, and Yuuichiro snaps out of his thought. He surely isn't expecting the guy at his doorstep right after he woke up.

   "Hey." The raven greets back awkwardly. "If you are searching for Mikaela, he's not here." He states to the black haired male.

   "I know that he's not here." The vampire retorts. "In fact, Lacus and I are here to collect and pack his things." Rene says.

    "Pack his things? Mika is moving out already?!" The raven shouts, and poor Rene winces at his loud voice.

   "Yes, he is. In fact, a lot of student already have moved out today. Finals are over after all. We don't need to stay here anymore." Rene explains.

   Well doesn't that means he got to move out too? It won't be as fun living in the dorm alone as Mikaela isn't with him.

   "Do get in, then." Yuuichiro moves away, letting the vampire inside his room. Rene thank him, and head straight to Mikaela's closet.

  The raven sits on his bed, silently watching Rene packing Mikaela's things. Looking at the blonde's clothes gets him thinking.

   "Hey, Rene. Is Mikaela always shy?" He asks. The black haired vampire turns his head to him.

   ".. i guess. You can say that. Why did you ask?" Rene questions him. The raven shuffles in his seat, now focusing on the conversation.

   "Mika.. i've seen him shirtless before, and it triggers him so much that i can't believe him when he said that he's just shy." Yuuichiro explains.

   Rene nods, his hand never stopping folding Mikaela's clothes. The raven waits for a response, but it seems like Rene isn't actually planning on giving him one.

   "So.. do you know why?" He asks. Rene looks at him with the typical emotionless vampire look. "I am in no place to answer that for him. You'll have to ask him himself, i think." Rene answers.

   " So.. where is Lacus? I thought you said that he is coming here too?" The raven asks.

   " You talk a lot." Rene comments. He frowns at the vampire, but decided to answer anyway. "I'm just bored." He says.

   "Lacus will come after i finished packing." Rene answers his previous question, and Yuuichiro nods in acknowledgement. The room is silent for a while, Yuuichiro staring blankly at a wall while Rene proceeds with packing Mikaela's stuff.

   "You know, Yuuichiro." The raven perks up when Rene talks. "You shouldn't let your guard down around vampires." Rene says, and Yuuichiro chuckles.

   "I never let my guard down around vampires. But you are Mikaela's friend, and  i think i should trust you too." The raven retorts, getting a chuckle in return that sounds somehow dark.

   "You shouldn't compare Mikaela with other vampires. We are different. Mikaela isn't a monster. Be careful with who you trust, Yuuichiro." Rene says. He stops folding clothes.

   " What? But you-" Yuuichiro gasps when Rene is suddenly in front of him, pushing him on the bed.

   "You smell so sweet.. How did little Mikaela refrains himself from draining the life out of you?" Rene purrs, leaning down and sniffing Yuuichiro's neck. "Mikaela is so lucky." Rene mumbles.

   "Snap out of it!" Yuuichiro shouts and trashes around, kicking Rene but the guy don't budge one bit. Thankfully, the door swings open.

   "Dude, you are taking too long. What the heck- Rene, get off him!" Lacus pulls the black haired male off Yuuichiro, holding him in place though Rene don't fight that much anyway.

  "I'm thirsty." Rene says, voice in a monotone. "Can i have your blood, Lacus? Mikaela won't forgive me if i ever feed from his Yuuchan."

   "So you are conscious! Damn it Rene. You almost fuck up. And dude what the hell? Only lovers drink from each other!" Lacus shouts, and Yuuichiro just watch the scene in front of him unfolds.

   "Please. It hurts." Rene says, making Lacus sighs, giving in. "Here." Lacus offers his wrist, but the black haired vampire has other plan.

    "Ack!" Lacus yelps when Rene bites on his neck, drawing out blood and gulping it down. "I don't give permission to bite my neck, you ass!" Lacus hits the boy on the head, and Rene pulls away.

   "Sorry." Rene says. And then he turns to Yuuichiro. "You too, Yuuichiro. Sorry. I was using you."

  "That's alright.. i guess. But please don't do that again." The raven replies.

  "Using him to do what, exactly?" Lacus asks. His neck already healing from the bite.

  "You are stupid but i still love you. Should be thankful for that, don't you think?" Rene says. Yuuichiro's eyes widen in realization, but Rene still looks clueless.

   "What do you mean?" Lacus asks, but Rene ignores him. Yuuichiro tip toes to the restroom, leaving the two guys to deal with their issue in private.

  Rene continue his works, putting Mikaela's clothes in the suitcase while Lacus grows impatient with the way Rene is acting. He pulls the black haired boy up, fisting a handful of the guy's shirt.

   "Answer me, damn it." Lacus says. Rene rolls his eyes, cupping the other boy's cheeks and connects their lips.

   "I love you, dumbass. Is that forward enough for you to understand?" Rene asks. Lacus scratches his nape awkwardly. "Yeah." He answers. Yuuichiro gets out of the bathroom.

   "Are you guys done yet?" The raven asks. Rene nods, taking Lacus's hand in his. "Yes, we are together now." He retorts.

  "Wait what-"

   "Woah, congrats!" Yuuichiro cheers. The two vampire proceeds with packing Mikaela's things, and finally, Yuuichiro is alone again. He decided to check his phone, and immediately sees a message from Mikaela.

Please don't look for me ever again. You can continue your relationship with Akane, i will not stop you.
Farewell, Yuuchan.

Yuuichiro's heart sinks inside his chest.
