So where do we live? I know this!!! Well in the UK we live:
In the family home.
In supported living- A place where you have your own room and facilities and have people who support you. depends on service to service. might have a communal area or shared garden. A staffroom on site. Pay for your own bills, buy food. Possible have someone to stay over.
residential care- More your own room but share spaces. More 24 hours support. Food is included.
In the community- Independently, no staff on site. Just like you.
Shared Lives- A scheme where you live in someone's home. And you receive your support.
Residential college and universities- We may live on the site of educational settings
We can receive different benefits here in the UK. So do check it out or your country's. This will make your character really relatable to us. And a better representation of us. This is due to how diverse the spectrum is.
