Tara felt an unbearable heat rise in her arm, like her skin was boiling, bubbling under her jacket. She gripped her arm tightly in attempt to stop the pain, though it was effortless. The pain didn't cease at all it in-fact inflamed more, making her yelp out in pain. She tore the jacket off of her and stared down at her arm. A white glowing was just under the surface of her arm, the exact spot where she had been hit by the bullet a day a go. The white light then travelled down her arm, lighting up her veins like she was going to use her power. She couldn't control it, it wouldn't stop flowing down her arm, she squeezed her arm tighter trying to stop the burning light from reaching her palms. It was no use, the light only travelled faster then.
Blake glanced back at Tara after hearing her cry of pain, his eyes widened with what he saw. Her arm was literally glowing with the same light he saw her shoot out of her hands yesterday, he stared at her utterly confused but then realised she had no idea what was happening to her either and he saw fear spread across her face along with the obvious pain. He rushed to her side while keeping an eye on the metal train door that was sparking at the end, any moment now they would burst through that door. He felt the uneasy, he felt like everything was ending for him. It had only been a day and his whole life had been flipped over and burned to ash, literally. Now the only hope he had of getting out of this was screaming in agony before him.
"Are you ok?" He asked her feeling panicked.
"Get away from me Blake" She gritted her teeth.
"W-What...Tara what's going on?"
" I don't know...but I cant control it...it's going to come out of my hand and I don't know how powerful it's going to be"
Blake looked around the carriage, trying, hoping a solution would come to his dim mind. He looked back at the metal door the three pursers were trying to break through, they would be here soon, just a few more seconds and they would catch them...Blake looked at Tara's arm and then to the metal, carriage door in-front of them. Suddenly something occurred to him. He turned back to Tara.
"How powerful is your beam?"
"Powerful enough to burn through a person....Why?" She replied gripping her arm tighter.
"Can it cut through metal?" He asked desperately
"Y-You want me to cut through the door?"
