Tara and Blake had been talking for hours and hadn't realized that now they were sitting in a dark room, with only the moonlight shining through a small window as a source of light, Tara didn't care that they were now sitting in almost pitch black room. She liked listening to Blake's stories about him and his family; they're holidays, his school; whatever that was. He even showed her some of his drawings; she had never of thought that he was such a good artist.
"He's never been in a relationship you know" Blake stated.
"Who?" Tara asked.
"Axel. Ax has never had a girlfriend or boyfriend once, in his entire life. I asked him about it once and he just said that he's too focused on his work to be in a relationship" Blake explained.
"There's nothing wrong with that, if he wants to concentrate on his work" Tara replied
"Yeah but he's never shown an interest in anyone, Man or woman. He doesn't have any friends either. I guess I'm just a bit concerned about him, he's not exactly a social butterfly" Blake continued.
"Social butterfly?"
"Just an expression" Blake said calmly. "So how about you? You ever been in a relationship?"
Tara blushed at the question "N-no I've never been in that sort of relationship"
Blake smiled at her softly "Then why are you blushing?"
Tara felt more blood rush to her cheeks "I am not!" She averted his gaze, trying to hide her face.
"Have you been in a relationship?" She asked Blake shyly.
Blake looked at the ceiling then, he looked like he was pondering about it " Yeah I've had a few girlfriends" He gave Tara a cocky smile which she returned. Tara thought this was really embarrassing, asking these sorts of questions. She's never had the chance to be in a relationship, not a real one anyway. There's only so much you can think about being trapped in a small room the majority of your life and being in a romantic relationship was not one of them. She had come close to friendship. Once. It was snatched away from her like hawk seizing its prey. One moment alive, the next, it was dead.
There was a small knock at the door, "Come in" Blake called out. It was Adam; he was carrying a small tray with a glass of water and two tablets on top.
"Sorry to interrupt. Blake you have to take your tablets now" Adam informed.
"Tablets?" Tara questioned.
"I have Iron deficiency anaemia, I have to take tablets twice a day" Blake said while walking over to his dad to take the tablets. After he swallowed the tablets with a mouthful of water he continued "It's a lack of iron in my blood, my bloods thinner than others, so i bleed more if I get hurt"
Tara watched Blake as he swallowed his tablets, taking in the new information. She was finding out more and more as the hours went on about the world she had missed out on, on the people around her and how to do basic everyday tasks.
