Tara was alone, standing on a cliff facing towards the ocean. Her long ebony hair flew past her face and all around her body, stroking her pale skin, catching her lips and covering her eyes. She knew this place wasn't real, she had come here many times before in her dreams but nothing had ever happened. She supposed it was her mind trying to comfort her when things turned bad, that at least explains why she's been here many times before but this time was different. The sun was setting and colours erupted in the sky; pinks, golds, oranges were swirling in the sky. Tara's eyes reflected the colours she was staring in awe and wonder, she didn't want to turn away but then she frowned.
The sun the disappeared and the dazzling ray of colours with it, the sky was now grey and darkened. The sea below her turned rough and the wind had now become fiercely strong.
Tara turned around in her dream, something she had never done before, and in the distance she could see a small cottage, it was a cream coloured cottage with green vines twisting around it. It had a small brick chimney that smoke rose from, someone was home.
Tara was confused , she had never seen this small cottage before in her dream but then again her dreams never lasted that long, she was always awakened at dawn. So she thought this may be the rest of her dream, the part she had always missed.
Tara began walking towards the little cottage as the sky grew darker above her, the long grass falling over her boots as if it was trying to pull her back. However Tara kept walking forward, her pace quickening when she saw light shinning out of the windows of the cottage, she knew this place, she had been here before. The wind pushed against her feeling stronger with every step closer she took, why was it trying to push her away from the cottage? That place is somewhere she knew but she felt like an utter stranger approaching it.
Tara reached the small wooden door, now up close she saw it was more detailed with black metal designs across the door in a swirling pattern. Tara then reached out and knocked on the door, she waited for a moment before she heard loud footsteps approaching the door. The door began to swing open and Tara held her breathe for a second, then standing in the doorway was a man. Tara guessed he was no older than twenty five but she had her doubts, he was quite tall and he took up most of the doorway. His face was long and his emerald eyes stared sternly at her. His short black hair sitting neatly on top of his head.
" You're finally here then" he said sounding like he was greeting he like an old friend. This confused Tara, she had never met this man on her life, how could he talk to her like he knew her. She was about to speak up when a familiar voice crept up behind her.
" Is it inside?" A deep voice behind her said. Tara quickly spun around, only to come face to face with the man who had been terrorising her, her entire life. Valcon. He stood there dressed as smartly as ever, his dark brown hair just covering his wide framed black glasses which sat on top of his long nose. In his hand he held a long black rod and Tara backed away when she saw it, he and always used it on her so the mere sight of it made her tremble.
" Yes we do" the man in the doorway answered.
" We?" Tara thought someone else was with him?
"Rosetta! Bring it here" the man in the door ordered
"What is the it they're talking about?" Tara thought again, Rosetta.... She knew that name.
