The babysitter

"Yang your in the clinic and Karev you are in the pit-
"dr.bailey do you think you can take my shift tonight i have a date tonight." Callie said interrupting her.
"No i have my son tonight and sorry i can't stay as much as i would"
"Miranda just hire a babysitter. Come on bailey do you know how many times i covered when you had thos—"

"Shhh okay fine you don't need to tell my business" Miranda said covering Callie mouth.
"Thanks bailey i got you next time i promise" she said hugging and kissing bailey on the cheek then walking away.
"I'm off tomorrow so don't call me" she yelled to Callie as she walked off.

Miranda told her interns their assignment then called tucker to tell him to bring her son to the hospital. Miranda had gotten a ear full of Tucker complaining of how much she was just a bad mother and don't enough time with her. Miranda ignored every word he said and went on about her night.

Hours later tucker met Miranda in front of the hospital to get tuck. They didn't even say hello to each other. Miranda just grabbed her son and his bags then went back in the hospital to drop him off at daycare.

Miranda had a busy night and wanted to just go home because her period started and everything started to irritate her.

Throughout the night she was really stuck on what Callie said about getting a babysitter. Miranda didn't want some stranger watching her baby that could kill him or forget to put his seat belt on in the car.

But Miranda needed something because as a resident she needed backup and support. Which was something she didn't have anymore because of her divorce.

Once the night calmed down she went to the resident lounge and scrolled through her phone for a babysitter. She skipped people who she thought looked crazy or their profile description wasn't enough.

She wrote down names of who she wanted to interview to be the babysitter of her child. She went for people who was always available including last minute calls and knew how to cook & clean.

For the rest of the night it's was pretty calm and most the patients were sleep. When it was time it felt like she was being freed from jail, she was so happy to go home and pass out. She went home and tucked in tuck to bed, even though it was like 6am he still went to sleep, and she went out like light once she laid down.

Next Day in the afternoon

Today was her off day so she called in the babysitters she wanted to see in person. Most of them seemed normal but it's was only one that really caught her eye when she said that her brother is a anesthesiologist at mercy west and mercy west was merging with Seattle memorial hospital.

Miranda soon picked a babysitter and her name was Rosalind Warren. Her first day started tomorrow because she was going out Callie like they do every weekend so Miranda can meet someone and get super drunk to wake up and do the walk of shame out of a random man house.

Saturday night

"Miranda where is your baby sitter? It's a certain time where women get in for free and we're gonna be late" Callie screamed while in the kitchen making her something to drink.

"I don't know she texted me on my way. She told me that her brother was driving her around temporarily till her car is fixed" she said coming out of her room while putting on her earring.

"How do i look?" Miranda said doing a 360 of her skin tight light blue dress that showed a lot of cleavage and a short sleeves with 5 inch heels.

"You look hot but your still not taller than me."Callie said sticking her tongue out at her.
"Oh shut up" miranda laughed.
"mommy don't say that. That's a bad word" tuck said from on the floor
"Go put your toys up. You should be going to be bed anyway" Miranda said and tuck ran up the stairs with his toys.

"That must be her"

Miranda went to go open the door and it was the babysitter but there was also a fine ass man standing next to her.

"Hey dr.bailey this is my brother Ben. He wanted to come see who you were just to make sure it wasn't anything sketchy but i told him everything was fine"
" hi nice to meet you. sorry i don't mean to intrude I'm just making sure everything was fine." Ben said shaking Miranda's hand.

"Nice to meet you as well and everything's fine. Me and my friend is about to go out."
"i really should get going see you Ros and nice to meet you dr Bailey" Ben said with a genuine smile walking away and Miranda let Rosalind in.

Miranda yells up stairs to let tuck know that the babysitter is here.

"Miranda who is it"Callie said walking towards her to see who it is.
"It's the babysitter. Callie this Rosalind and rosalind this is Callie."

They greeted each other then Miranda kiss tuck goodbye and sees a all black Mercedes across the street. Miranda thought it was sketchy but couldn't really see anybody in it because of the tint.

A man got out the car and it was Rosalind's brother Ben and walking towards the end of her drive way.

"oh hey Ben did you need something" Miranda said. She was relieved that it was just Ben.

"Well I wanted to know if i can join you guys."

Callie was getting in the car just as she was about the close the door she overheard Ben ask if he can come. She jumped right back out.

"Of course as long as if you get Miranda's number too"
"Callie?!?" Miranda said turning around looking at her as if she was crazy.
"What I'm just helping you out"
"I mean i don't mind if she agree to it" Ben said referring to Miranda
"sure i don't mind" 
" so you wanna give me your number now or-"
"I'll give it to u when I'm ready" Miranda said walking to her car"

Ben watched as Miranda swayed her hips as she walked back to a car. Miranda knew he was watching so she had to reel him in.
"Follow me" Miranda yelled to him then got in the car.

"Bailey you should totally get his number"
"No. You embarrassed me enough by making him think he going to get my number."
"Miranda he perfect for you and plus you are gonna be seeing him a lot more since his sister is your babysitter" 
"i don't know Callie. But if i go missing tonight you already who did it."
