The babysitter

Miranda had not been to ben's room for 3 weeks and have been avoiding him since the kiss.
Miranda was walking down a hallway where Ben room is and heard somebody coding. She ran in the room and it wasn't ben.
After the code she walked in the hallway catching her breath leaning on the nurses station.

"Long day?"
Miranda turned around it was Ben sitting up looking at her.
"Yup" she said standing straight up.
"Is the guy next door okay"
"Yea he's stable" Miranda about to walk away but stopped in her footsteps.
"Can we talk please"
"I have to work" Miranda said walking away.
Ben sighed then looked up at the ceiling.

Months and months went by and it was time for Ben to be sent home.

"Hey Rosalind come in" Miranda was confused why Rosalind was at her home because it wasn't her week with tuck.

"I'm sorry to come over within short notice but i have to talk to you about Ben"
" what about Ben?"
"I know He has feelings for you and i know about what happened with you going to bens room at the wrong time. But trust me when i say this the girl that you saw he kissing was old news.

The girl name was Veronica who Ben used to out with before he got into medicine."

"Why are you telling me and not Ben"
"Because Ben is umm... hold on" Rosalind walked out the door and screamed

BEN GET YOUR ASS IN HERE. YOU SUPPOSED TO BE TALKING TO HER NOT ME. IM NOT YOUR MESSENGER"

Rosalind popped her head back in saying "he will be here in a moment sorry"

Moments later Ben walked in.
There was a awkward silence once he walked in.

"I missed you" Ben said with a weak smile.
"How you've been" Miranda also say at the same time

"I've been good thanks for asking" Ben said first
"I've missed you too" Miranda responded.

Ben felt a calmer about how he felt because he was really anxious about talking to her.

"Is that all you wanted to tell me?" Miranda asked.
"no. I know that we haven't been on good terms since the club i don't know how to say it but I like you.
I want you to give me a chance to make up all of our horrible experiences together and make it into something that we can tell our kids."

Miranda was surprised that he said kids because Miranda Bailey most definitely wasn't planning on having any more kids other than tuck. But the feeling was mutual.

"I'm sorry i didn't mean to catch you off guard when i said kids. But Miranda I'm serious and i mean this when i ask you this but
May i please take you out on a date?"

"Yes you may" Miranda said smiling.

Ben came up to her and swung her around. "Oh thank god. This had the best thing I've heard in months." Ben dropped her back down and Miranda losing her balance.

"One more spin and I'm gonna pass out" Miranda said catching herself.
"Oh sorry. I should go but this Saturday at 7:00 and i will pick you up."  Ben said calming down.

"But one more thing." Miranda asked
" is it true about Veronica because i don't like being a side piece or-"

"No rosalind wasn't lying. It's true Veronica is definitely old news. Me and her used to date before i got into medicine and i was in the street doing Stuff that i wasn't supposed to be doing.
