The next day at school, Yujeong had let Saebyuk with Jungwon who apparently had caught a cold but had enough strength to take care of Saebyuk. Of course Yujeong thought that was complete nonsense, but she just brushed it off and headed to her first class.

"Jeong!"

A cheerful voice came from far away, Yujeong whipping her head behind her, seeing Hyerin and Siyeon standing near the lockers. She smiled and headed towards them, glad to see them after a whole weekend without meeting them.

"Hey girls, what's up?" She greeted, approaching Hyerin and Siyeon.

"Eh, nothing much. Just taking care of a dog, you know?" Siyeon replied, playing with her hair.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you had biology. Didn't you get that Samoyed dog?" Hyerin asked, remembering Siyeon had a big, white fluffy dog.

"The dog that looks exactly like Jeno?" Yujeong joked, Siyeon rolling her eyes playfully at her remark.

"For real though, I've never seen a person look so much like a dog." Hyerin agreed, clapping her hands in laughter.

"Yeah yeah, whatever."

The three girls walked down the hallway, chattering about the new drama "Doom at Your Service" and how handsome Seo Inguk was.

Meanwhile, in another hallway, Renjun, Jeno, Donghyuck, and Jaemin were walking down the hallway, the crowd of students splitting apart like the Red Sea. Most of the girls were in awe of their unique facial features, their boyfriends glaring at them in jealousy.

"How's that pet project of yours going?" Renjun asked, facing Jeno.

"Okay, I guess." He replied blandly. Renjun turned to Jaemin who had a lollipop in his mouth, bored out of his mind.

"What about you?"

Jaemin shrugged and said, "I don't know, I haven't seen the dog that much."

"How come?" Donghyuck furrowed his brows, knowing it had been a week since Jaemin was assigned the project.

"Yujeong's been taking care of it."

"But shouldn't you be taking turns?"

"I don't know and I don't care enough to know."

"Bro, you shouldn't be relying on Yujeong to get good grades." Jeno advised, slightly disappointed at his friend's actions. "You should take care of the dog sometime."

"You know I can't, not with that asshole still at home." Jaemin snapped, annoyed at his friends.

All four boys knew who he was referring to. Jaemin's father. And although his father didn't act like one, he was still technically Jaemin's guardian and had control over him until he turned 20. They all thought that law was utter nonsense, but the law is the law.

"The government should really change that law of theirs." Renjun said, remembering the law their city had put in place.

"They should, isn't 18 the age for an adult in America or something?" Jeno asked, receiving shrugs from his friends.

"You should ask Mark-hyung." Donghyuck suggested, only getting a blank face from Jeno.

"But Mark-hyung's from Canada, dumbass."

"But Mark-hyung's from Canada, dumbass." Donghyuck mocked. He then started running down the hallway, Jeno chasing after him in anger.

Renjun and Jaemin sighed at their childish behavior, reminiscing the past 7 years of the nonsense.

"When will they ever grow up?" Renjun sighed in disappointment.

"Probably never."
