-- home. That evening, Jaemin entered the house with no specific feeling. Just that blank feeling of nothing. He took off his shoes at the door and walked onto the wooden floor, occasional creaking as he walked into his room.
It was two hours before his dad got home. Jaemin secretly hoped he would have some extra work to do so that he came home later. Most of the time, Jaemin would go to either Donghyuck's or Renjun's house just because he didn't want to face his father.
Jaemin got out of his room and slipped his shoes back on. At this point, he was disgusted by his own house. Jaemin absolutely despised it. He felt the need to escape from it.
He made his way to Renjun's house, remembering that the boys were going to meet up after school there. Jaemin didn't exactly go to these meet-ups, but he still had a heart and occasionally went to them.
Jaemin opened the door, sighing at the fact that it was unlocked. Again. He entered the house, the sound of yelling and screaming filling his ears. Jaemin continued to walk into the house, the voices becoming clearer.
"Yah! I'm on your fucking team, why'd you kill me!?"
"Sorry not sorry."
"You could've gotten him, idiot!"
"Then maybe you should get him!"
"I'm not-"
"Hey, Jaemin-hyung's here!"
The youngest, Jisung, said, everyone's heads whipping to the side, all eyes on him. Jaemin kept a blank stare like he usually does.
"What's up, wanna play?" Donghyuck asked, putting out his game controller.
Jaemin shook his head. "No, I'll just watch."
He walked over to the couch the other 5 boys were sitting on and gestured to move over before sitting down. The other boys looked at each other and shrugged, continuing to start a new game.

After 3 hours of just playing video games, the boys decided to eat something.
"How about samgyeobsal?" Chenle suggested, but the other boys shook their heads.
"Then how about malatang?"
"Nah, don't you feel like we've eaten too much of that?"
"Eh, true."
"Just get fried chicken." Jaemin said in an annoyed tone. "You guys always argue about this, but eventually settle on fried chicken."
They just looked at him, realizing that he was right. Even though Jaemin didn't come to the meet-ups often, he had seen enough to know that they always argue over what kind of food they should order.
"He's not lying though..." Jeno shrugged.
"Yeah, let's just get fried chicken." Donghyuck concluded, taking out his phone and clicking on the delivery app to order the chicken.
Only 15 minutes later, the doorbell rang, indicating the chicken was delivered. Renjun got up and opened the door, grabbing the delivered food. He came back and set down the plastic boxes of fried chicken.
The first five minutes were just full of munching and sipping of the Cola that was ordered along with the chicken. Then, Jaemin's phone started to ring, Jaemin sighing at the caller ID. All the boys knew what that meant.
"Hello?" Jaemin picked up, his annoyed tone clear.
"Uh hey, is this Jaemin?" An unknown voice answered.
"Yes, who are you?"
"I'm one of Naryeong's friends, and well, your girlfriend's drunk and she needs a ride home."
Jaemin sighed, rubbing his temples as the other boys just watched him.
"Fine, I'm coming." Jaemin replied, hanging up. Looking back at the boys he said, "I have to go."
Jaemin got up from the couch and put on his leather jacket before leaving the house. Once he left, the others didn't know what to do and instead, continued eating, some occasional small talks about school.
"He's always leaving because of that girlfriend of his." Renjun suddenly said.
"Yeah, I don't think it's good for him." Jeno added, agreeing with Renjun.
There were many times when Jaemin had to leave because of his girlfriend, and the boys weren't too fond of that.
