Chapter 9

Abby's POV

        "Okay he gone lets hurry cause it getting major cramped in here "maui said as me and  her were side by side in small vent we had climbed into. "He gone" evette said opening hatch and saw her climbing down first then destiny, maui and me. Here stood the four of us in norman's office as I could feel my stomach turning not in good way. "Kendra and grace are on norman watch"detiny said as maui and evetter fumbled with his desk. "What are you guys doing? " I aid confused about the plans just remebered being pulled along with them.

        "whoever norman was on the phone with did not sounds happy" Destiny pointed out as we only were able to hear some part of the call. "but.. what are we looking for.." I asked before maui pulled out the blue file from the once locked drawer.  "hurry.." Destiny said as I fumbled pulling out my phone and rushed to take the pictures of things inside the file. But it was the sounds of door knob that put us in stand still.

        "but i mean why such a hurry for the race, i mean why not make them wait.." Grace spoke as we all hurried to hide. Once the file was back me and maui hid under the large desk as there was not much to hide behind. There now everything we did was quiet hearing the sound of footsteps before soon two long legs sat in front of desk. 'we are so dead' I thought over in my head with wide eyes.

David's POV

        "full house! beat that!" I yelled with hands thrown up in air laughing as honestly me and guys were bored out of our mind. "has anyone heard from the girls?"Dalton asked as it was strange not hearing from them this long, well it was more scary since they were mischievous just like us. "Im sure they are fine.."Dana said but we could hear the worry in his voice.

"and who said that last time before we were attacked with nerf guns" gabe said as we all eyed one another. "let go!!" We all said in unison before leaving the station garage and hurried to find the girls when i received a text from evette. "shit.. there in Norman's office.." I said looking up as all other guys stopped with wide eyes.

Within 5 minutes the six of us stood in front of the double doors as we could hear the girls voices and norman's voice inside. "alright let go.." I whispered as the six of us quickly busted though the door and my eyes scanned around only seeing kendra and grace. "what going on now?" Norman asked in irritated tone as Gabe nudges into will.

"The pods! they were sabbtage and not working!" Will said jumping slightly when he was bumped. "What?! are you serious!?" Norman said narrowing his eyes as he hurried rushing from his desk. "come come.. we must see them now! at once!!" The elder male said as cole and dana nodded leading the way to pods.

"Alright he gone!!" Gabe said as he hugged kendra. Soon we watched grace in Dalton arms, maui and abby peaking out from under desk, Destiny jumping from vent and finally seeing evette coming out from closet.

"Thank god.. never scare us like that again.." I said rushing to Evette cupping her face softly. "Im sorry david.. next time we will include your guys" she said as we all hurried leaving the office and to garage to make sure this race does not happen at least for now.
