"want me to walk with you?" Dally said
"If I'm not back by sunset look for me." I said half way out the door. I walked down the street no sign of Socs. I opened the door and looking around the store, an old Couple, some kids, and this girl. She looked Familiar, she turned around and than I saw her full face. Her name is Tallulah, she's a socs. You know me I've always hated socs but she was the only one who didn't treat us like shit. She's Darrys girlfriend anyways. She has short curly hair, but back with a white head band, wears a plaid skirt and a white shirt. She's super preppy looking. I never really talked to her but she seems nice. I was nervous to go up to start a conversation.
"N.G?" She called out
"Tallulah?" I responded
"Holy smokes! Is that you?"
"Yeahh it's me alright."
Darry never took T to his house, he was embarrassed that he live in such a shitty part of town. The only time I saw her was at one of Dallys party's.
"Woah, you look so grown now." She laughed
"I'm 14 already! Cant you believe it."
"Stop it! Your making me feel old!" She reached for a magazine and some snacks.
"Going to a party?" I asked
"Yeah, just a sleepover with the girls."
"Ah! Nice."
"Any plans with you?"
"Just hanging around, with pony boy obviously."
She laughed
"Man you two really are tight." She looked down
"Mhm. How are thing with you and Darry?"
She looked up confused as if he doesn't talk about her.
"Where doing just fine! Has he talked about me?"
"Not to me, probably to Soda pop."
It was a moment of silence until one of her friends came in
"T! What are you doing talking to this greaser." The girl looked me up and down. I remember that I was wearing over sized boy clothes. Probably looked like a homeless man.
"Hush now Stacey! Just small talk."
"Let's get outta here."
They both walked out but Tallulah looked back
"Bye N.G!"
I waved goodbye. It didn't hurt me when people called me names. I really didn't care what so ever. I grabbed all my snacks and drinks for us tonight and walked back home.
