Ymir gave me the signal.

I ran as fast I could and stole the freshly made bread and a cinnamon roll since I knew Ymir loved them, I couldn't wait to see her warm joyful face when she saw the roll.

I looked at Ymir who was distracting the baker by asking her if she saw a lost cat. She looked up and understood I was done so she started to run as well. The baker realized what we were doing and started chasing us with a rolling pin. Ymir and I had already thought of a plan to run to a spot that had a gap between two buildings. It was big enough so that Ymir and I could squeeze through but the fat baker couldn't.

Once I got to the spot there was a problem.

There was a watermelon cart blocking the gap and there was no way we could push it out of the way since we were only 10. I quickly looked around, Ymir looked at me with a scared face. The baker's yelling was getting louder and louder. We were running out of options

I frantically looked around and realized there were flimsy crates piled on top of each other against a wall that we could probably climb. Then I saw a mysterious figure in the corner of my eye but I ignored it since we were in a rush.

I looked at Ymir and said quietly "Quickly let's climb the crates and get on the roof." Ymir looked at me for a second and finally replied "Fine" with a concerned look.

We quickly ran towards the crates, The fat baker with the rolling pin was getting closer screaming at the top of her lungs

"GET BACK HERE YOU BRATS IM GOING TO MAKE YOU REGRET TOUCHING MY BREAD!"

I looked back but I wasn't scared, I was used to it. Unfazed I looked at Ymir, she looked terrified. When we got to the crates we started climbing them, I stacked a couple on top of each other to be able to reach the top. I climbed first then held my hand out for Ymir. Once we got on the roof we gave each other a high five. We looked down and saw the witch with the rolling pin. She started cursing and blabbing on and on about how she was going to make us regret everything.

I started making silly faces, but Ymir stopped me. I looked at her then back down then I saw, the baker started climbing the crates. I hadn't thought this through I never thought about the fact that the baker would climb the crates because of how fat she is. Ymir was a quick thinker and pulled out her specialized arrow which was a stick with a rock on the tip attacked by string. She aimed and shot the bow onto the crates causing them to break. I was relieved it was helpful that Ymir had amazing shooting skills.
