How does this man know my name??
I have always kept my last name a secret from others, heck, I have even made up fake ones. This man knows something about me that even I don't.
"How...." I finally mustered
"hmm?" he responded, getting closer.
"How do you know my name... did someone tell you?" I repeated.
Ymir looked at me trying to keep her posture. She knew that I had always kept my last name a secret, heck even she didn't know what my last name was since my mother had always told me to keep it a secret. The man grinned, taking another step closer. He placed his hand in his pants pocket fidgeting for a moment before pulling out 2 pieces of paper, slightly wrinkled and had a few red stains on them.
"Oh haha ignore the stains it's just ketchup trust me" he chuckled.
Only he laughed, Ymir and I just stared at him. "This man can't be for real" Ymir said with a monotone voice, her green eyes piercing the man's. We were both curious but cautious at the same time.
"Ahem," he cleared his throat trying to be dramatic, and started reading off the paper.
"Height maybe around 4'3-4'10 by now, dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, she should still have a very small scar on her elbow that was left after she had accidentally fallen from a chair once when she was 3. Her favorite food is onigiri, the plain ones since she is picky, her birthday is June 4. And maybe she is wearing a pendant with a moon and star."
Ymir turned her head quickly and stared right at me. I had tears threatening to fall. My shoulder slouched back and my hands were not as tensely holding the slingshot. Maverick then flipped the second paper and showed it to Ymir and I. The paper had a messily drawn moon and star pendant with the words:
The pendant she may be wearing
at the top. The pendant looked identical to mine. I placed my hand under my dirty shirt and pulled out my necklace from underneath.
"Ah, there it is! Damn, they really can't draw well but you can tell it's the same necklace from the paper" he gave a sarcastic laugh as if the person who had drawn on the paper and him were friends.
"You need to give me an explanation of what's going on," I said fiercely.
I felt like I was being toyed with. My mind was spinning as so many thoughts ran through my head.
"How about you come with me and you'll learn" he said with a mischievous grin.
This man was getting on my nerves. He is so chill about everything and he speaks very vaguely.
"And what if I say no," I raised an eyebrow trying to look calm and carefree.
Ymir looked at me staring into my eyes once again with her beautiful sparkling green eyes with her cute freckles, she had dirt on her face but that didn't matter. Whenever she had something on her mind she would stare into my eyes until she could collect all her thoughts.
"I mean it's your call Luna" he shrugged as he turned around.
He knelt down to pick up his coat and his gun holster which was on the floor from earlier. He put one arm through his coat and then the other. He then clipped the holster around his left leg just like before. He started to walk away, and without thinking I ran and grabbed his coat sleeve.
"Fine" I muttered slightly embarrassed that I need his help and can't manage on my own.
"Greatttt!!!" he said smirking as he turned around, it was like as if he knew that I wouldn't let him leave.
