"Luna?"
"Luna?"
"Luna wake up, we're here!" Ymir said in a tone louder than her normal one.
My eyes fluttered open. I squinted my eyes as I rubbed them since everything was fuzzy and bright since I just woke up. I looked around. I was still in the car but it was parked. The driver's seat and passenger's seat were empty and it was just me and Ymir in the back.
*tap* *tap* *tap*
I hear someone knock on the window so I look to my left to see Maverick standing on the outside of the car window looking down at me since I am lying against the window. He quickly opened the car door as he realized I was awake.
"Finally-" he began
*THUD*
Maverick looked down to his feet to see me lying on the floor.
"Luna are you okay??" Ymir gasped as she poked her head out of the car and looked down.
I simply grunted I had just woken up and of course, Maverick has to act dumb but mischievous at the same time. From knowing him for around 3 days he had done a great job getting on my nerves.
"Oh, my bad" he stated as he reached his hand out to help me get up.
I ignored his hand and got up on my own. I don't want this man to think I can't even get up on my own. That would make me look weak and that's something I never want someone to think of me.
As I stood up he glared at me but not in a rude way, more like a "Can you hurry up I have something to tell you" way. Ymir got out of the car and stood next to me and facing Maverick. He continued to stare at us as if he was zoned out.
This is pissing me off why does a full-grown adult have to act like he is a 4-year-old child. Even I who is 10 can act better than this. He can't even stay focused for a minute.
"Hello?" I said as I crossed my arms and lifted the weight of my body from one leg to the other.
He shut his eyes and then he opened them again. He looked at us as if he has come back to reality.
"Oh my bad-anyways back to what I was going to say if you hadn't interrupted me," he said casually as a smirk appeared on his face.
I wonder what it'll be like to just rip that smirk off his face. I'm getting ahead of myself.
"I'm just kidding, don't stare at me like you're going to murder me" he joked.
"Anyways, welcome to Acura's headquarters, the one and only." he pointed towards the giant mansion we were standing in front of.
The mansion was pure white with two big pillars in front of the big metal door. In front of the two pillars were two men in all-black tuxedos. The two men were of medium build, they stood still with their hands behind their backs, with their earpieces on.
We walked in, only to see an even more beautiful, welcoming indoors. There was a long spiraling staircase, extravagant lighting, and a musky yet sweet aroma filling the room. It reminded me of the smell of the expensive beer they sold at the fancy bar, at the other end of the town. A place for the rich, famous, and successful, a place I was never welcomed. Ymir and I continued to bring our gaze from one thing to another.

Suddenly a man came running down the stairs with a clipboard in one hand and a walkie-talkie in the other. He wore a black turtleneck that complemented his build. He wore black shoes with nicely ironed dress pants. His black hair with red highlights was neatly slicked to the side. I closely examined him and realized he had 3 rose tattoos on his neck. It was the same shape as Maverick's just a different location and only 3 roses instead of 4. It was also in black in white just like the Remys and unlike Mavericks. He also wore one earring on his left ear. It was a simple black rose.
Of course, a rose again I'm not even surprised.
His piercing glare gave me goosebumps as he stared at Ymir and me before looking back at Maverick
"Boss!!" he spoke as he walked closer to Maverick
"Enzo, do you have details about the current mission?" Maverick stated as he looked towards this man that I knew was now called "Enzo"
"Boss, Zoe Taylor is down. And all the men are being pushed back and are running out of options." He said in a very urgent manner of speech.
🗲ENZO tell the boss that Zoe Taylor is headed towards the Acura hospital🗲
Enzo looked at his walkie-talkie since that's where the sound was coming from.
"You heard it boss" he spoke.
Maverick turned to us as he started to speak quickly, "Luna, Ymir we're going out!"
Before I could even react, I was dragged into the black car once again.
