Ymir and I sat down in an empty alleyway to enjoy our well-earned food. As I sat down I remembered the cinnamon roll that I had stuffed in my pocket to give to Ymir later. I pulled out the roll and yelled,

"Surprise!".

Ymir looked over and gave me her big warm smile.

"Thank you, Luna," she said and lifted the roll gently out of my hands.

She then proceeds to tear the roll in half and hand me a piece. I happily accept her offer. After we finished the flavorful roll we decided to eat the bread too. I pulled out the bread and tore it in half for us to share. To our surprise, a small note fell out of the bread. Ymir picked it up and we both looked at it. It read

"Meet me behind the alleyway near the butcher shop on the 12th for a way to earn money".

Ymir and I looked at each other and gave a surprised look. I got super excited and looked at Ymir.

"Finally we won't have to steal," I said happily.

Ymir gave me a cautious look and replied "what if it's a trap, what if the villagers are doing this to get revenge and they'll do something to us when we get there".

I looked at Ymir, she looked scared. I thought about it and then responded, "what if we go but bring all of our makeshift weapons just in case".

"Okay I guess that could work," she said a little worried.

We packed our weapons which included, Ymir's variety of arrows and of course her bow, my DIY smoke bomb which was really just a thin plastic bag with fine sand in it. I brought this just in case if we had to make a run for it. And lastly, I brought my slingshot. I didn't really like using it though, this is because it was hard to control since the rocks were always different shapes and sizes. Also, the string would sometimes break which was annoying.

We started to head towards the alleyway. My slingshot in my hand, and Ymir's bow in hers. It took us a while to get there. Once we got near we turned the corner and there stood a tall shadow near the back of the alleyway. The alleyway was small, dark, and it was infested with flies because there was a trash can full of rotten meat, since we are right behind a butcher shop.

The mysterious shadow headed towards us, the sun hit his face.

We were shocked...

(A/N: Sorry we took so long with this chapter we were doing the outline of the story so that we
could make the story have no plot holes. (We will try to update more often.))
