Chapter 24-That's It I'm gonna Marry You Part II (Ace POV)

A few days have passed and today I'm getting married! Me! Getting married to the love of my life, the mother of my child: Tommy Thayer, well officially his last name is now Frehley. I mean have the marriage license, last name changes and all that done.... Today it's just official, very official. I admit I'm nervous, I can't wait to see him!

Currently, he's not with me as he's with Bruce, Fox, and Eric and I am with Gene, Paul, and Peter. My sister and her kids & husband are coming too, and my heart is so full right now. I am brought out of my musings, by Peter poking me repeatedly...

"Ace? Come on Space-man, you there?", Peter smirks and I roll my eyes at him.

"Well, I am the space-man, so if I'm NOT on this planet right now, that's allowed you know.", I quip. "Just a little nervous, can't wait to see Tommy...just thinking about a lot of things, that's all."

"Nerves huh? Hey man it will be ok.... Tommy's really a great guy.... still wish I hadn't had been Satan to him, though. You've got this!", Peter reassures me, and I just so happen to catch a glint of gold on his finger and my eyes narrow & I point at him accusingly.... but smirk.

"What the fuck?! When did you get married?!", I yell, and this draws the attention of Paul & Gene. Peter looks sheepish...

Gene crosses his arms and goes, "Yeah Peter tell us. Don't make me breath fire."

Paul mutters, "I can't wait to hear this!" but he says it with just a slight grin.

"Ok, ok.... I didn't want to steal yours and Tommy's thunder on your big day, but Eric and I got married a couple of days ago. So, we eloped. I just couldn't...I can't live without him and it felt right for us.", Peter sighs dreamily.

"Well, I'll try not to neuter you cat or murder you, but hey congratulations!! We're both gonna be married now! I can't wait to see Tommy! I wonder how he's doing. How is the baby doing and all? ", I sigh and breathe deeply to calm my nerves. Breathe Ace, your marrying the love of your life....you can do this!

Before I know it, I am standing on the beach with the ocean in the background and time seems to slow down. Everyone is gathered and then....my jaw drops and my heart thunders in my ears as I see him: Tommy. If I didn't know better, I'd swear he was an angel, I feel there are tears in my eyes, and I can tell his eyes are watery as well. I will remember this moment for the rest of our lives.

He's glowing, he's never...I mean never looked more beautiful to me. After what seems to be an eternity to me, he reaches me, and I take his hands in mine as we stand before the officiant. I mouth, "I love you!" and Tommy mouths it back to me. Then everything is a blur until we get to the part where we say our vows to each other....

"Tommy, where do I begin? You fell for me even when I was, well when I treated you so bad because I was too scared...too blind to admit that I had feelings for you. You've changed my life for the better in so many ways, I've patched things up with Pete, I-I just have become a better person. You fell in love with me and have given your heart, body, and soul to me. And you're giving me a child and marriage...things I never thought I'd have or want. I can't tell you just how much I love you, how much I love our baby.... You are my lightning bug and I for the rest of our lives will always, always be here for you, for our children. I love you! I choke out weeping without shame.

"Oh Ace! I would not want, nor will ever want or need anyone else but you! Sparky, I'd never have imagined we'd wind up married and with a baby on the way, but I wouldn't want it to be any other way. Now & forever, we are bound. My love, no matter what we face in life...we will do so together! Always!", Tommy sobs out.

Soon, we are pronounced married, and Finally I can kiss my...husband. We kiss and it's like sparks, sweet and yearning. There isn't a dry eye on the beach I know....

"I love you, Thomas Cunningham Thayer-Frehley. I love you with everything that I am." I aim a watery smile at him, my husband as I bring both of my hands to rest on his little baby bump.

"Paul Daniel Frehley, my Ace.... you are the sweetest most amazing partner I could ever ask for. You've done so much for me! You will be an amazing father! You...You just are amazing! I---" he trails off and yanks me into a kiss. Time, I believe is truly standing still at this moment....

We finally begin to make our way to where we are going to have a little reception, but Tommy and I only have eyes for each other. Shock my love indeed!
