Again, I Lost

I was heavily breathing while finding the bracelete Hyan gave to me last June 2, in our monthsary. The last thing I remember, I wore it yesterday when I went to an errand after my duty at the hospital. I even prepare myself and changed my clothes here in the car so if the bracelete lost, it's in here.

Calling...

"Argh!" Sigaw ko sa taranta.

I didn't pick up the phone right away dahil may kinakapa ako sa ilalim ng driver's seat. Namatay rin agad ang tawag pero tumawag ulit siya kaya maiyak-iyak kong sinagot 'yon.

"Mah---"

("Mahal, I got the job! Remember Mr. Galibo? Galibo's Group of Companies? I got his project mahal!" Masaya niyang ani kaya napalitan agad ang emotion ko.

"Really? Argh, congratulations! I'm proud of you! Kelan daw kayo magsstart? Kaya mo bang pagsabayin 'yan? Hindi pa kayo tapos sa bahay sa Fairview right?"

("Mahal, si Hyan 'to. Matatapos na rin naman yung sa Fairview so madali na rin for me... and this week na ang groundbreaking.") He stopped and breathed heavily.

("But mahal...")

"Hmm?"

("I'll go now at the villa. May kaunting problema roon, kailangan ako ni daddy.")
I pouted. Magkikita pa naman sana kami ngayon after his work. I even changed my clothes into a casual one.

"What happened?"

("Don't worry, it's not really a problem naman. I just... I just go there..")

"Okay...send my regards to tito. I miss him and tita. Take care, okay?" He chuckled.

("Yes, my love. I'm sorry I can't see you tonight...")

Napabuntong-hininga ako. "It's okay...just take care and message me,okay?"

("Of course! I love you, Ynna.") Nanlaki ang mata ko dahil tinawag niya ako ulit ng Ynna. Hindi na kasi ako sanay.

"Hmmm....I love you, Hyan Marco." He chuckled.

("I'll miss you, love....") Napairap ako at natawa.

"Hyan Marco, saan ka ba pupunta? Batanggas lang!" He laughed too.

("I just felt missing you everyday. Argh, see you when I see you mahal. I have to go. I love you so much..")

"I love you so much too, take care please..."

("I will.")

When he ended the call, agad akong napasandal sa upuan at bumuntong hininga. I didn't even continue finding the bracelete and went back straight at house.

When I arrived, mommy was at the front waiting for me. She's wearing a pajamas while holding a cup of coffee.

"What are you doing here, 'mmy?" I asked.

She smiled at me and caressed my cheeks.

"Nakakainip sa loob dahil umalis ang daddy mo. He went to Batanggas, namomoblema siya kina tito Harry mo."

Kumunot ang noo ko.

"Kasama po niya si Hyan?"

"Kanina pa siya umalis. Nauna na siya roon." Mommy started to walk inside so sumunod ako.

"What happened there, 'mmy? Is everything okay?" Mommy shrugged.

"I hope so... you're dad's problematic earlier. He didn't even explain to me what's going on. He's in a rush."
