Angie:

I sat in the chair next to Harley's hostpital bed, gently holding his hand as he slept. The doctors had him hooked up to a heart monitor and a drip, going into his arm. They'd thought he had spinal damage and possible head trauma when the ambulance had arrived. He had a thin bandage covering his forehead - where he'd hit on the road after tumbling over the car. He was lucky the impact of the car didn't do any serious damage.

I felt awful, this was my fault. Malcom had been trying to kill me, not Harley. Harley was hurt because of me. I burried my head into his limp arm as tears escaped my eyes. I needed him so much right now. I needed him to be okay.

I felt a hand slowly brush over my hair. When I picked my head up, I saw Harley's beautiful blue eyes staring at me. I hadn't even heard him wake up. His hand moved to my face and softly wiped away the tears from my eyes and cheeks. He gave me a weak smile and I gently crashed my lips to his.

Harley:

"Hey," I said in a weak, husky voice. My body was aching and my back was really tender and definetly bruised. I felt a little light headed but I just needed a some water.

"Don't you ever do that again!" She said almost crying again, "and hey," she added with a relieved smile and teary eyes.

"Are you hurt?" I asked concerned.

Her eyes met mine as if to say 'Serously? Am I okay? You're the one who just got hit by a car!'. I chuckled slightly.

"No, I'm fine, it's you we should be thinking about." Just then her face dropped as if she had suddenly remembered something.

"Angie?" I asked, worry in my voice, "What is it?" She was really starting to scare me now.

"Umm... I've not had my period for a few months," She said quietly and slowly.

Wait, what?

"I took a pregnancy test this morning - it was positive, I was going to tell you after the trial had finished, but..." She trailed off. "Oh my god, I copletely forgot, what if I lost it when I hit the floor?" She started to panic, tears streamng down her face as her hands shook.

I sat up and dragged the blanket from ontop of me and wrapped it around her. Then I slowly got up and walked over to the door. As I opened the door, a doctor and 2 nurses came over to me, helping me to stand steadily.

The doctor looked at me as if I had lost my mind. "Harley, what are youuu doing out of bed, you've just been in a serious incident, you should be in bed resting." He said in a serious tone.

"Angie said she found out she was pregnant this morning," I quickly interupted him.

"Okay," He said returning the favour, "I'll come and do an ultrasound now but I need you to take it easy and get back in that bed. Deal?"

I nodded quickly as he went to get the equipment, the 2 nurses helped me back into the room and the bed, then helped Angie into the bed with me where she curled up to my chest, still crying and not saying anything. They left the room when the doctor entered.
