*This is set three months later. Angie and Harley have moved out of the carehome as they are both 18 and have just bought a house with Johno and Jess. The house is in Portudo - near to the carehome.
Angie:
"Angie," Harley said in a whisper. "I don't know if i can do this." His eyes were sad and empty and he stared down at the floor, twideling his thumbs. He did this whenever he was nervous or scared. He'd been absolutely fine until this week.
I fnished putting my hair into a ponytail and turned around, walking over to him. The sofa dipped slightly as I sat down beside him. I reached my hand out and held one of his - stopping him from twideling. With my other hand, I slowly cupped his chin and pulled his face so he was looking at me.
"You can do this Harley," I said with a sympathetic smiile. "We've waited 6 months for Malcom's trial and it's finally here. After today, that's it - he can't hurt us and he won't be in our lives anymore. He'll just be a bad memory every now and again - one we can face together. We can finally move on with our lives when this is over."
His eyes met mine and he smiled ever so slightly.
Harley:
I'd been dreading today so much. Malcom's trial was finally here. It'd been postponed since he had to go to the hospital because I'd hit him over the head so we could escape. Then there was something about a fight with an inmate, which ead to him ending up back in hostpital.
I wasn't going to let him ruin my life anymore. I had the most amazing friends anyone could ask for, and a perfect girlfriend who was the most important person in my life. Today I'd get my life back, My friends would get the old, happy me back, and Angie would hopefully get to see a bit of a different side to me. I wanted my life back and I was going to get it.
