Part 22

No POV 
Location: Garreg Mach 
Time since Y/n's abduction: 20 minutes

It's early in the morning when we get our sights on a trio of Knights of Seiros as they patrolled the grounds of the monastery, talking amongst themselves 

Knight 1: "-And after all that searching, the one who stole the kid's sweet-roll was his dog!" 

This got the three guards then broke out into laughter as they kept walking before the one in front of them slipped on something and fell to the ground with a metallic 'clang' as his armored body hit the grassy ground as the other two looked to him 

Knight 2: "Hey, you right...there...?" 

The guard trailed off when he saw that the cause of the guard's fall was a white cloak with gold accents that travelled all over it, the inside of the hood with a small blood stain. As the guard who fell sat up and rubbed his head, he grabbed the cloak with confusion before they then heard a groan of pain and looking past them, they saw that the source of the noise was a man clad in all black with a what looked like a shattered chest plate made of onyx. Near the man laid a short sword with black paint coating the blade  

Seeing the man, the fallen guard quickly got to his feet and with his two friends, they all quickly drew their weapons and rushed the man as he tried to get away but was tackled to the ground by Knight 1 while Knight 2 pointed his blade at the man and Knight 3 grabbed the cloak and the pieces of Onyx that once made a chest plate before Knight 2 Yelled at him 

Knight 2: "Go tell Catherine!" 

Hearing the order, Knight 3 nodded his head and dropped the items before he ran off while Knight 1 grabbed the intruder by the back of the head and slammed it onto the ground, the force strong enough to knock them unconscious before Knight 1 relaxed slightly 

Knight 2: "Is this the one who planned to take the Archbishop's life?"

Knight 1: "I'm not sure, but whoever they are, looks like they were attacked" 

Knight 2: "Yeah, my best guess would have to be who ever owns that robe there" 

Knight 2 then gestured to the Robe that was sitting on the ground with the Onyx pieces scattered around it and after a few minutes, the area began to light up more as the sound of clattering armored footsteps could be heard until Knight 3 returned with Catherine and three more soldiers which carried a torch in their hands 

Upon laying eyes on the scene before her, Catherine approached the two knights that stayed behind and decided to question them

Catherine: "What happened here?" 

Knight 1: "We were on patrol as usual when we came across this person, already hurt and trying to escape, it looks like someone encountered him before us, his armor was broken and we stumbled across the robe over there on the ground" 

Pointing over at the robe, Catherine followed the man's gaze before laying eyes on the robe as her eyes widened and quickly approached the article of clothing and grabbed it, her eyes landing on the blood stain in the hood as she gripped it tighter, a worried look on her face as she stood up 

Catherine: "Alert Seteth of the intruder and throw him in the dungeon" 

Knight 4: "W-What? Why?" 

Catherine: "These ones weren't after Lady Rhea, they were after a student who owned this robe" 

Catherine then quickly ran off in the direction of the dorms while the Knights then grabbed the intruder and dragged him off in the direction of where the dungeons were located, meanwhile two ran off towards where Seteth's room was located
