No POV 

We get our sights on Y/n who was standing next to Mercedes In front of a large statue in the Cathedral that was located inside of Garreg mach. the two of them made no noises as they were busy praying but after a few moments of silence, they finished their prayers and then turned to each other 

Mercedes: "Thank you for accompanying me here today Y/n. If I may ask, is it true you're going with the professor on a mission at the end of the month to deal with Lord Lonato?" 

Y/n: "Yes I am, He's started raising an army against the Church. I'm just part of the Team being sent to deal with the aftermath though" 

Mercedes: "Is that so? I've heard whispers about Lord Lonato. they say he is a very kind and gentle lord. Why would such a kind man suddenly raise an army?" 

Y/n: "I have no idea I'm afraid. To be honest, I'm worried for what Ashe must be going through, it's his Adoptive father after all. I think I'll go check up on him. Sorry to cut this Short" 

Mercedes: "It's alright Y/n. I understand, This is a tough time for him right now" 

Y/n: "Thank you for understanding, I'll make it up to you Another Time Mercedes" 

Mercedes: "I'm looking forward to it Y/n" 

Y/n then left Mercedes as he was about to start looking for Ashe but luckily, he didn't have to look far as He was Seen sitting in one of the Pews with a worried expression on his face. Upon seeing him, Y/n then walked over and sat next to his fellow student 

Y/n: "Ashe, you ok?" 

Ashe simply shook his head no before speaking 

Ashe: "How can I be ok after hearing what's happening?! the man I Hold the most respect and Gratitude for, the Man who took me in and Raised me as his own son and sent me here despite being a commoner, suddenly raises an Army against the Church and is going to go to war against the Knights of Seiros!"

Y/n: "...I'm sorry, that was a stupid question Ashe" 

Ashe: "What's going to happen to Lonato? If he's killed, I...I don't know how I'll live with that" 

Y/n: "I don't know how to answer that Ashe, I've never really had to experience what you're going through, seeing as I was Raised by the church and all but know this. Whatever happens, you'll always have everyone here to talk to. you have friends everywhere" 

Ashe stayed silent as he thought about what was said to him for a small while until he spoke up again 

Ashe: "You're going there at the end of the month, correct?" 

Y/n: "I am" 

Ashe: "I'm not permitted to go seeing as he's my own father and something like that could be a problem in a battle, Knowing that i'd be going against my father so can I ask you this favour?" 

Y/n: "Sure, what do you need me to do?" 

Ashe: "Should, by an extremely small chance that you meet my father, please, Please try and learn why he's doing this. I just want to know his reason for doing this" 

Y/n: "Alright, I can do that for you" 

Ashe smiled a little before he spoke again 

Ashe: "Thank you Y/n. I think I'd like to be alone now" 

Y/n: "Sure buddy, I'll see you later" 

Y/n then got up as he then made his way across the bridge as he struck up a conversation with Ddraig
