My life is still a mess. I still miss my home. There is still an uncomfortable stretch of silence whenever mom calls, the memories of the past still haunts me and the cravings for sedatives aren't decreasing at all. But at least I don't feel so lonely anymore. Bianca takes care of that as much as possible. She somehow manages to make my existence a bit tolerable and helps me to believe in hope.

A lot has happened this past month, since she and I got together. Sia is successful to form a proper gang afterall. Penzo is now in good terms with me, not that there was anything bad blood going on but he seems to have ultimately changed his soft spot for Bianca into a stronger version of friendship. It is atypical though, considering how fast he managed to display that he is over her. Is that even possible?

Even if he's still crushing on her, I don't care because I know how strongly she admires me and she doesn't even need to tell me out loud. The way she looks at me--like I'm her favorite person in the world--is more than enough for me to trust her.

She is indeed a pure blessing in disguise and I don't know what I did to deserve her.

The day of the concert is nearing as we've already hit September and the school is in a lot more turmoil with the main event taking place the next week.

"How long have you been singing?" I ask Aahana. Amazed, after seeing her wonderfully sing and play 'Zombie' in her acoustic guitar during our jam session in between the rehearsal.

"As long as I can remember." She says, still playing soft tunes on her guitar.

"You're brilliant. "

"You're better," She replies almost instantly. "atleast you managed to get famous. "

"What?" I ask.

"You're one of the vocalists and the lead guitarist of that popular band in Darjeeling, aren't you?"

My mouth goes agape before letting out a chuckle of amusement. "Well, I wouldn't say popular, but.. how do you know?"

"Aww, look at you being modest." She teases. "Anyway, I saw some of your performances in YouTube and..." She bends a bit closer to me. "l even stalked you in Facebook?"

I shake my head and laugh along with her. "And here I thought you're the type of girl who wouldn't waste her time stalking a stupid teen."

"Hey! I've got a reputation here." She says, continuing the dramatic jest. "I need to keep an eye if someone tries to steal my thunder. "

"Don't worry, your thunder is safe."

"Hey," Bianca arrives while we're still laughing at the nonsense talk.

"Hi," Aahana and my voices echo as Bianca sits by the chair placed in between us.

"Is your practice over yet?" She asks.

"The solo is over, but we are yet to finish this fairy tale song." I answer.

"Oh, okay." She smiles but it seems forceful and something about her feels different.

"Is there something wrong?" I ask her.

"No." She replies instantly. "I just.. have a headache. "

"You can leave if you want." Aahana speaks. "We can continue tomorrow."

"Okay.." I say, a bit hesitant.

"Are you sure it's just the headache?" I ask her again because she is still awfully quiet as we walk home together.
