I looked up at Peter as I slowly felt numbness in my body, he stared back teary eyed muttering "no" as a chant. I smiled the best I could "nothing hurts anymore" I said to try and reassure him, however the tears were flowing from my eyes as he watched.
"I feel kinda free" I added before collapsing in his arms, taking my last breath "I love you" I said for the last time smiling as he repeated it back to me.
I closed my eyes and saw a soft, yellow welcoming light, it was different to the bright white light everyone described it as which seemed harsh, this light was inviting and I walked right towards it.
