Nia POV "Niaaaaaa" my best friend whined
"No Seria, im not going" I sighed
She's been bugging me about going to some random lstreet race downtown for the past 2 weeks. "Niaaaa please it's gonna be so funnn all the top teams of Japan are gonna be there" I rolled my eyes getting off my bed
"My answer is still no"
"What If I tell you they have food" now she has my attention. I swiftly turn around at her comment walking back to my bed. "Will there be wings?" I asked
"Yes and they have those Buffalo ones that you love" she grinned
"Ughh" I groaned "fine I'm in, but let me find something to wear" I walked to my closet trying to find something to wear
"What are you gonna do with your hair" Seria asked as she sprawled all out on my bed
"I'll probably slick it back" i pulled out a pair of shorts turning around to show my bestie for her opinion
"Nahh I don't like how they are"
"We'll too bad I'm gonna wear them" I laughed
"Then what was the point of showing me themmm" she whined
"Just wanted you to feel included" I shrugged walking over to my dresser for a shirt pulling out a white cropped tank top and a pair of socks
"Put the socks back" Seria laughed
"Noo these are lucky socks"
"They aren't lucky you've just had them since middle school" she was still laughing while I put my outfit on. There's nothing wrong with having naruto socks on that say ichiraku ramen all over them.
"You ready" I asked grabbing my keys
"Yeah let me just grab my phone and purse"
I walked downstairs to my front do and putting in the first pair of white shoes I saw. I could hear Seria behind me running down the steps putting her shoes on too.
I pulled out of my apartment complex and drove off. "Can you put the location in my phone so we don't get lost" she grabbed my phone putting the address in before setting it on the phone stand and playing some music.
════ ⋆★⋆ ════ I pulled up next to where all the cars are parked and got out. Damn this place was packed. Maybe 200-300 people where here. I could hear all the girls screams and the guys yells over the loud music that was blasting all over.
"Come on before we miss getting a good place." Seria grabbed my arm dragging me towards the crowd.
"Where is he" she murmured
Who was she looking for and why is she dragging me along with her? "I found him" she smiled dragging me to a guy sitting in on a red Toyota Supra
"SARORI" she yelled waving to him
She ran up to him giving him a hug before turning back to me "tendou I'd say I'm surprised to see you here but I'm not" I laughed giving him a little side hug while he laughed at my comment with me. I know him do to Seria and him having a thing on the low and he's in 2 of my college classes. He always ask me for last weeks notes when he comes in. So him and I became good friends.
"Did you get the stuff?" Nia asked him and she sat in between his legs on his car
"I almost forgot" he turned around and reached behind him for a bag and handed it to me.
"This was the last batch before they ran out and I'd figured you want it" the smell of spicy Buffalo filled my nose as I opened the bag.
"You know just how to make me happy" I smiled at the styrofoam box full of wings and fries
"Do you know who's racing tonight?" Seria asked
"They said all the captain are racing tonight then next week it's whoever enters." He grabbed a blunt from his pocket and lit it up taking a hit from it then blowing it out "That means Mr.Wakatoshi is racing tonight"
"That must mean it's big money huh" Seria took the blunt from tendou hitting it to
Wakatoshi? I've heard about him throughout the college but I've never actually seen him before. The screams from the girls started to grow louder and cars began to pull up to the starting line.
"There's Wakatoshi coming now" tendou spoke making us turn out heads to see a blacked out Dodge Challenger with purple rims and windows so tinted you can't even see through.
He was the last one to pull up next to the other cars before getting out. He stood tall with a skin tight black shirt in and a zip up jacket over it blue jeans and black shoes. "You know Nia the more I look at him to more he looks like your type." I could hear the smirk forming on Seria.
"Yeah yeah keep joking" I shrugged her joke off and Ushijima started walking to us
"Your always a little late Wakatoshi" Tendou moved Seria and got up to throw his arm around his friend.
"You're the one who told me to buy drinks." He held up the plastic bag full of drinks " I know you and Seria have a green tea obsession but who's the lemonade for?"
"Ahhh my friend that would be for little Mrs.Nia right here" Tendou turned their bodies so their attention was on me.
"Nice to met you..." I stuck my hand out
"Just call me Wakatoshi" he shook my hand then handed me the drink
I accepted it opening it up to take a drink from it. Damn spicy wings with some salty ass fries will dry you're throat out
"Ushijima since this is Nia first car met you should let her ride with you as you race." Seria suggest
"Huh" I chocked on my drink ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ TBC
