PART 24 - UNSAID

Mikasa could just smile on the view they're seeing. They have a early long trip just to watch the sunrise. They also planned to watch the sunset.

Mikasa could just feel her heart with piece as she look at the sun rising up. She breathe the fresh air.

It's so good to start my day with him.

Mikasa smiled and looked at Eren who's just staring at the sun. When Eren felt her gaze, he looked back at her and smiled. But his eyes were sad. He looked back at the sky and took a deep breathe.

He chuckled. "I always despise the sunrise and sunset. It always reminds me that another had begun and ended without you in my life. Then night came, darkness followed. Like how I felt everytime I think about hurting you."

Mikasa could only just stare at him, adoring him. Many years had passed. She keeps on denying him but deep inside her heart, she's always looking for him. It was like, her heart wants to be with him but her mind was keeping her away from the another heartbreak.

But I don't think I'll let him break my heart for the second time.

Mikasa sighed. "I didn't appreciate every single beautiful thing that God has given to me. The appreciation of me has been taken away when we parted ways. I always look at someone or something blankly, like it didn't even matter to me."

She looked at Eren and smiled.

"I felt like whenever I'll start appreciating things again, I'll ended up on the ground, barely standing, and heart's broken."

When Mikasa saw his pained expression, she looked away. She can't stand it!

She took a deep breathe.

"I was traumatized. By the way how I adored and appreciated your love to me. I.. I just can't.."

Before she could even hide her face on her hands, Eren hugged her. His warmth brought easiness onto her but that didn't made her stopped crying. She can still feel the pain inside her.

She can still remember how she questioned her worth that time. How she lose reasons so she can continue to live. Everything back then was.. suffocating.

But right now, she accepted all those pain. As Eren embraced her, he also embraced the pain that she's been feeling for years.

She heard Eren whispered things to her.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry... I really am. I will make it up to you, I promise.. Please.." He pleaded.

She hugged him back. She misses this. She always does. But she kept on denying because of the pain. Trauma. That he might hurt her again.

But love can't be love without pain. It doesn't surround with happiness and joy, pain will always be there. You have to hurt, to learn and grow. To know if your love for him or her is strong enough to bear the pain.

But giving up doesn't mean you're weak. We always gave up on someone that we know we don't have a chance to be with. It was just too tiring. The chase. The false hopes. Everything.

"If I'll have my another life, I'll find you again and right there, I'll love you even more on what you imagine." Eren whispered.

Their day started and ended peacefully. They became more close and sweeter. Eren forced her to sleep inside his condo. But Mikasa could only just sigh in defeat and nodded. She knows so well that Eren wouldn't stop until she'll say yes!

For Pete's sake! That's how clingy Eren could be. She'll admit or not, she love it. And she wants it.

"I'm just gonna wash myself up," Mikasa said as the towel was on her shoulder already. Ready to enter the bathroom without looking at the man who's giving her some stares.

She stopped when he talked.

"I want to wash up too.." He said in a low voice.

Mikasa looked back at him and saw him pouting like a kid. Oh damn!

"Then wash up after me, you surely do can wait, right? I won't take that long though," she shrugged.

He pouted even more. "But I want to wash up with you."

Mikasa's face heated so she turn around so Eren couldn't see her tomatoe like face! Damn his baby tactics!

"S-Shut up, Jaeger!" She hissed.

She felt Eren arms encircled around her waist. She slightly jumped out of shock. Then she felt Eren's breath on her nape, giving her some small wet kisses. She stopped herself from moaning.

"So.." He trailed off and slightly bit my nape. ".. you shy now, huh?" He said in a low husky voice.

She bit her lip to stiffle her moans and groans. "Fuck you," she said almost out of breath.

She looked at him when Eren made her faced him. And with a smirk curved on his lips, "Oh.. baby, I will," before crashing his lips into hers.

The wash up thing was never done but they did some things left unsaid.
