Selene, Bloom, and Musa sat together in the cafeteria together while waiting for the others to join them with their own food.

"It's just strange not seeing Aisha get something right..." Bloom said worriedly as she stirred her yoghurt cup. Selene looked up at her and gave her a nonchalant look.

"It's bound to happen to all of us Bloom," she muttered out remembering how Bloom struggled to light a fire yesterday with the help of the stone circle.

Musa's eyes glowed a bright purple as she smirked at the fire fairy in front of her. "Agreed, not sure why that makes you feel obnoxiously guilty though."

"I know that you have to feel everyone's emotions, but you don't have to broadcast them." Bloom immediately snapped at the empath and Selene couldn't help but nod in agreement.

"Aisha's tired," Bloom sighed out frustratingly. "Yeah. My parents think that Alfea's in Switzerland, so... they skype me at9 am Switzerland time every morning-"

"It's 2 am. Our time. Yes, we can all hear you." Musa immediately cut the redhead before she could finish her sentence.

"Am I being too loud? I'm trying to be quiet." She looked at Selene in confusion, but she didn't receive a reassuring nod to tell her Musa was only teasing. Instead, Selene nodded in agreement with a sheepish look because it really was true.

"Like an old lady wrapping sweets in the cinema." Musa continued on teasing the fire fairy with a slight smirk on her face.

Swallowing her food quickly, Selene tried to reassure her friend feeling a rise in embarrassment and guilt coming off her. "It's not a big bother, Bloom. At least you didn't kick Aisha out of the room during that time, unlike Stella..." She rolled her eyes and stretched out her back again. "I swear if she makes me leave tonight, I'm going to-"

She stopped talking once she saw Musa turned away while flashing her purple eyes and her smirk fell to form a dorky smile. Her heart dropped as she felt Sam's aura and frowned. Musa was staring at Sam.

It was Bloom's turn to smirk and tease Musa, not noticing Selene's shift in demeanour beside her. "Where'd you go?" her voice increased in pitch as she asked her question. "Is it my turn to broadcast your emotions?"

Musa straightened up and looked at Selene with a guilty look. "It's... complicated and it's nothing." She glared at Bloom and looked down to her plate.

Sending her a questioning look, she was about to ask what Musa meant but Terra sitting down interrupted their discussion. Selene couldn't help but thank Terra for her great timing, feeling awkward that Bloom was about to ask if Musa did indeed had a crush on Sam and she couldn't hear the truth just yet. Green was not a good look on her.

"I have a question," She spoke immediately before she even sat down. "Since when was it cool to be a nerd? I mean don't be wrong. It's great, amazing; Power to the nerds." She ranted, not realizing Bloom and Musa weren't paying attention. They were instead sending each other glances. Musa was also not so subtly giving Selene awkward side glances, as if trying to tell Bloom that Selene was why nothing would develop. "But now it's cool to talk about fairy history?

Realising what Musa meant a few seconds later, Bloom widened her eyes and turned to Terra. "What?"

"Ter," Selene was utterly confused by Terra's rant. "You are a nerd." The other two nodded in agreement.

"Well, yeah... I like school. I like getting good grades and reading alone with a cup of chamomile, but no one shares a freaking apple with me, even though... gross."

Terra was working herself up and Selene could feel a sense of anger and frustration rise from the brunette. Reaching over, she patted her hand and tried to help her calm down a little.

Musa burst out in small giggles as she gave Terra a bewildered look. "We're gonna need so much more context."

Terra could feel the weird juju Selene sent to her. She'd always felt and, usually, she welcomed the feeling. Today, however, the feelings weren't welcomed and she pushed her hand away in annoyance.

'Stop.'

Selene frowned, hearing Terra's refusal and looked down to her plate. Hearing how annoyed Terra sounded, she realised that she must have overstepped and it made her feel awful.

'What's wrong?' A new voice appeared in her mind.

'You're sister's upset...' She replied.

'I'm asking you, Lenna, not Terra.'

'I'm fine.'

She looked around the cafeteria and spotted Sam leaning against the wall holding 2 ice creams, offering one to her when he saw her looking at him.

Selene shook her head at him causing him to send her a look of exasperation. Seconds past and Terra continued to rant about Beatrix. Before she could try to cheer Terra up, a hand appeared on her shoulders.

Sam stood behind Selene and waited until Terra finished her rant. Sending his sister a sweet smile, he took Selene's empty tray. "Sorry, Ter, but I'll be stealing your friend for a little while."

He ruffled Terra's hair with a smirk and grabbed Selene's hand. He pulled the girl away from her group of friends without a glance at the other girls on the table; not even the empath who watched after him longingly.

Selene did notice Terra's long face and tried to pull away from Sam's grip but he didn't let go. Sighing from behind the boy, she sent Terra a thought instead.

'Don't think about her, Ter. I'll talk to you later when we get ready, but you're perfect.'

Though Terra didn't reply and she didn't see her face, she felt a small shoot of happiness from the girl, and that was enough for Selene to let go of her worries for a little while and leave with Sam.

They walked together sided by side, and Sam began to open the two ice creams he held. "This will make you feel better," he grinned and handed it over to her.

"What flavour?" she inspected the Ice cream curiously.

"It's peanut butter which is literally the best flavour." He boasted to her. When he saw her crinkle her nose with a look of distaste on his face, he gasped out in mock horror.

"I'll eat it, for you," she laughed at his dramatics.

"You make it sound like you're sacrificing your life for me or something," he grumbled out.

"It's not my favourite, but it'll do." She shrugged nonchalantly and ate it timidly.

"So, what's your favourite?"

"Mint chocolate chip."

Sam turned to her in disgust. "What the fuck. You prefer toothpaste to peanut butter?"

"I'm not a squirrel, Sam" she teased him.

"Well, I'm not a toothbrush." He shook his head and grumbled out in disbelief. "You better finish that ice cream, Selene."

Stopping in her tracks, Selene grimaced as she felt her throat become scratchy and a slight itch on her skin. "I don't think I can..."

She tried to hand the ice cream back to Sam, but he refused while sending her odd looks.

"Sam," she sighed out annoyed by his dramatics. "I may have a mild peanut allergy..."

This caught Sam's attention and he looked at her with wild eyes. "Oh my God."

Sam proceeded to immediately throw both their ice creams very far away while panicking about how he almost killed her. Pulling her to his side, he shook his head and dragged her to the nurse's office.

"It's only mild," she stressed to him, knowing the itchiness would fade soon, but he didn't stop pulling her along.

"You're an idiot, Young."
