Chapter 37

Y/N's POV

Everyone got tense when I announced that I felt oto-san around us back in the walls.

I kept feeling oto-san's aura, yet I ignored it, just thinking it was just a coincidence. 

But I should be reporting this to Oyakata-sama. This is very important.

"May those who are not part of the Demon Slayer Corps leave, please? We will have quite a discussion here."

Oyakata-sama meant that to the Survey Corps, so I gestured them to leave by pointing at them, then the door.

It took them a few seconds to comprehend what I was trying to move them, and they all walked out.

Not even bowing.

I 'tch' with Shinazugawa, which we stared at each other with hatred, and went back looking at Oyakata-sama.

"So you assume that Muzan is there then, Y/N?"

"Hai, Oyakata-sama." 

He nods his head slightly, with everyone around me nervous about what he has to say.

"You should hurry back there and protect all of the citizens there, Y/N. That will be your long-term quest."

I bow my head, maintaining sadness as much as possible since I did not want to see oto-san at all.

"As you wish, Oyakata-sama." I said, bowing again in respect, along with the rest of the Hashiras following my action.

I stood up, about to walk out to where the rest of the Survey Corps was, before the rest of the Hashiras gathered around me, making a circle not allowing me to escape.

"Now, we can have a flamboyant chat I hope? We have never met the Moon Hashira, so it would be a flamboyant time to know each other, though we all know each other but you." Uzui said.

"I know all of you guys perfectly well, thank you, Sound Pillar, Uzui Tengen. Now excuse me, I want to leave and go back to where I have been assigned to protect the humans." 

Uzui was amazed how I knew them, and their breathing techniques. 

I felt like a stalker just saying that but I did know them, and it would be pointless just to lie and pretend I didn't know them.

Shinazugawa 'tch' at me, and shouted: "I want to challenge you, demon girl!"

I smirked, and said, "The pleasure is mine."

All of the Hashiras ran out of the Ubuyashiki's Estate, and we all ran to the Moon Estate.

While walking in, I was greeted by all my staff, smiling and greeting me and the other Hashira's behind me.

Not something you often see people do when they find out you're a half-demon. 

I lead everyone outside to the backyard training area, and all the Hashiras got themselves comfortable on the grassy part of the backyard, while I and Shinazugawa hurried over to the clean grassless area. 

And of course, I did prepare 2 wooden katanas, we weren't going to try and kill each other.

Well, Shinazugawa might try to kill me. 

Let's just ignore that.

Himejima raised one of his huge hands and yelled "Ready?" 

We both nodded, and he shouted"Go!" while letting his hand drop to his side.
