It was supposed to be a wonderful day, I guess, for them at least.
The rain the night before seems to have cleansed the air of the city.
Evie wasn't feeling as great as she had wanted. Thankfully, the pain subsided after breakfast.
Namjoon was supposed to pick her up in a few minutes, they'll head to Victoria Harbour first to take a few pictures then to Disneyland. He was confident he would be able to guide her through the trip. She didn't trust him, to be honest but she couldn't care less; she's saving her money and that's all that matters.
He arrived exactly at 10:30 at the front gate. They clicked a few pictures with the Victoria Harbour. A solo pic for Namjoon, 2 for Evie and 1 together.
It wasn't Namjoon's first visit to Disneyland; he lied. It was his second time. The first time was when he first arrived at the city; his co-workers had taken him then.
It wasn't as pleasant as he wanted it to be; he hadn't known them well then and he was afraid he'd spent more than he had planned. Unfortunately, he got a slight motion sickness, just a little headache as he and his 4 co-workers had crammed into a car to get there. So, he was eager to try out the rides he couldn't the first time.
Evie wasn't as enthusiastic, she had lost much of her energy during the first.
Seeing this, Namjoon suggested they eat first. Things got better from then on.
First, they visited the haunted house. Namjoon wasn't scared; Evie wasn't either but has this habit of screaming during jumpscares.
During the whole walk through the house, Namjoon kept whispering jokes into her ears, explaining the concept and psychological factors that supported the success of haunted houses. That made it worse for Evie; she'll lose her guard listening to Namjoon and then AHHHHHhhhh. Some severely damaged human head pops out of the wall or a cold hand clutching on her ankle, taking her by surprise.
"Oh my gosh—that took me by surprise!"
They rode a few rides, that had less people queuing. A few food items like waffles, ice creams and chocolate took home on Evie's hands the whole day. She bought a lot of souvenirs though she had bought some in London. She might have acquired more than enough throughout her trip from the UK to HK.

The ride home was mostly quite with the radio playing softly on the background."Are you tired?" Namjoon asked, one hands on the wheel and the other slightly shaking her to see if she was awake.
"Not right now." Evie spoke, "In a minute or two, maybe." Hinting that the weariness might set in soon.
"You've got a lot of stuff, how are you going to take them home?"
"I have send most of my stuff home by FedEx the day before yesterday. I only have a few pieces of clothing and those stuffs I bought today."
"When are you leaving? Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow. Junmyeon said he's going home too so I thought I could board his ride home from the airport; he doesn't live far from me back home."
"That's good—you have someone to go home with. You're parents wouldn't be able to pick you up either."
"Yeah... It's better than riding home alone."
°°°°
The ride home was long, with the traffic jam and the rain. Evie had awaken by the sound of a camera snapping from her short nap; the car was still."Have we arrived?" She wiped her drool off her lips.
"We're in a traffic jam." Namjoon said, relaxed and scrolling on his phone.
"Did you take a picture? I think I heard something snapping."
Namjoon, his attention still on his phone screen, said, "I don't think I heard anything— maybe it was a dream?"
"I guess..." Evie pressed the window down, letting fresh air in. The dark clouds were starting to disperse and the sky lightened bit by bit.
She put a hand out, raindrops spotting her palm.
"Today is so much like our last date at the amusement park back home."
"How so?"
"You kept whispering onto my ear at the haunted house; I had waffles then too while you barely ate anything but today, you ate a lot; you screamed so loud coaster ride today too." Evie chuckled, not facing him.
While Namjoon was staring at the back of her head; feeling guilty that the only thing he remembered from that day was getting a call from work during one of the rides.
"It was raining that day too. But you left early before it rained so, I don't think you remembered that, do you?"
"No... Sorry."
"Why would you apologize? It's not like you can stop the rain."
Namjoon thought back on that day for a while as the car started to move again. It was a smooth ride from then on.
He tried to remember why he left. He got a call but from who? Was it his assistant? Yeah it was Lisa who called him. What did she say? It was about someone getting hurt. Who got hurt? Which player? Yoongi? Sehun? Jungkook? Jungkook! and who else... Kuanlin?? Of course it was Jungkook and Kuanlin. 'She called to tell me they got injured during practice!'
"I'm sorry I left you. I think it was my day off and I was probably the one who suggested to go."
"I should be the one who's sorry if anything for that day. Because, that day," Evie hesitated,
"...I decided I don't want to be with you anymore."
