It was a hot Friday evening. Jimin and Hoseok were out together looking for suits for an upcoming wedding. Halfway through their trip around the mall, they chanced Jisoo and Taehyung who were searching for an appropriate gift for the wedding. They all decided to take a break and headed towards the food court.
After all was settled and they each got their orders, they started to peck in how their lives' been going. Hoseok apparently went on a mini-vacation with a friend he called Suga with the money he probably saved from selling his choreographies and his DMT classes. Jimin did DMT too and worked part-time as a dance instructor for a stage crew; he swore he fell in love with broadway. Jisoo became a kindergarten teacher while Taehyung worked as a horticulture specialist for a government research centre.
"I think Namjoon's planning to propose." Hoseok snickered as he passed his phone around to the others. On his phone screen was a photo of the said man staring intently at a set of rings in front of him.
Taehyung smiled, "Its about time." and passed it to Jimin.
"Do you think Evie will say 'yes' though?" Jimin asked as he passed it on to Jisoo. The others shook their heads but Jisoo was sure Evie would love it and told them that she would say yes.
"But I'm sure that they haven't even said, 'I love you' to each other." Taehyung sighed.
Jisoo slid the phone back to Hoseok and said, "I think its the perfect time. I mean, Evie just got a job at the state university and Namjoon's team has been doing great too. Evie is definitely not the one to rush into marriage but when will they get another opportunity like this?"
"Yeah, the team didn't lost a match last season either." Hoseok thought for a moment, "You're right, I think this might be their only chance. Evie is already as busy as she is and Namjoon's constantly running around following his boss. I bet they'll only get busier from this point on."
Jimin nodded, "I hope Evie knows that if she really sees a future with Namjoon."
Hoseok stood up suddenly, his eyes fixed on a man a few tables beside them. He walked to him and they did some greetings and a little laughter. When he returned, he was smiling ear to ear and when they asked him why, he answered, "That was Mister Worldwide Handsome, Seokjin."
"Your friend from college, right?" Taehyung guessed.
"Yeah."
"Wow, he really is handsome." Jimin said after checking him out while the other two nodded.

A tired Namjoon was driving an exhausted Evie home from the wedding. The traffic was terrible and they have been stuck for a while. Evie could barely keep her eyes open; the evening breeze was blowing gently as she gradually gave into her drowsiness.
One hand on the steering wheel and another sliding onto hers, he asked, "Did you enjoy the wedding?"
"Of course," she mumbled, "Its Jackson's after all."
"How about we get married too? Would you like that?"
"That would be..."
"Nice?" He asked, hesitant and afraid to face her as his face was burning and his eyes were a little teary from nervousness. She grumbled as she shifted a little to the side and rested her head on the door.
"Then, will you marry me?" Namjoon swore his heart was going to jump out at any moment and perform acrobats on the dash board with Evie's prolonged silence.
