That day when Taehyung was first introduced to her by Jisoo, Evie wanted to rip him apart. Not because of the common protective friend skepticism but because in a span of 4 hours, he managed to accidentally trip her, accidentally stain her white shirt with coffee, accidentally break her Minnie Mouse headband, then crash into her and send her back to the floor. Taehyung didn't dare to talk to her for the next 5 months and Evie wasn't particularly open to small talk either."Guys!" Taehyung slammed the door open, "I'm gonna be a DAD!"
The boys were enthusiastic and eager. Evie laughed for the first time that day when she heard the noise from hall. She took Jisoo's hand as they stared at their reflection on the mirror.
"Hope I don't trip walking down the aisle." Evie smiled.
"You better not or else I'll literally restart the wedding." Jisoo tried to glare at Evie but the tears didn't help.
"I'll make sure I don't then."

By 4 pm, the wedding ceremony was done and guests were starting to move into the hall in search of food. There would be a short cake cutting session which would be followed by a small party with a few close friends at their apartment.
Traditionally, it was an unconventional plan of events but it worked well. Most of their families and relatives would prefer to leave after dinner anyway.

11:30 pm
Evie and Jimin were changing the bedsheet; Namjoon and Hoseok were taking the trash bags out; Jisoo and Taehyung were busy preparing food. The apartment was nowhere done and furniture were still stacked in the living room.
Jimin plopped down on the mattress, breathing the fresh scent of the sheets in while Evie was pushing the pillows into the cases. They could hear the newly-weds giggling from the kitchen.
"I hope we won't eat burnt pasta again."
"Same," Evie chuckled, "Oh! Jimin, a friend of mine found you pretty interesting. What do you think? Should I set you up?"
"Is she pretty?" He tossed his body and looked up to look at her.
Evie shrugged, "Average, I guess."
"Then what kind of person is she?"
"Quiet, super smart and charismatic." She hummed, "I feel you two would make a cute couple, she's super adorable too."
"Okay, I'll think about it but first, Evie, I have something to ask you." Evie's head shot up, "What do you think of Namjoon? You two seem to be pretty close."
Evie furrowed her brows, "Close? I don't think so. I think the two of us are much closer."
"But you bought him a birthday gift last year." Jimin smirked.
"That was a thank you gift for helping me with an assignment that I got great marks in."
"And he bought you a Chrismas gift."
"He said he felt uncomfortable receiving without giving so he bought me that."
They were interrupted by Taehyung who informed them that the food was ready.
"I want to get married too." Jimin said as he sat up, "I'm getting married the first chance I get."
"Don't be so bold, you're only 22." Evie offered him a hand.
"I don't see why I would hesitate if I meet the right person." Jimin took her hand and pulled himself up.
"I grew up around former Miss Right's and Prince Charming's who, if they weren't so reckless, would have completely different lives; though not necessarily better."
"And that means?" Jimin raised a brow.
"Just saying that people change and to stay married is to force yourself into accepting whoever they change into. Marriage is a like a cage, Jimin, and married people are just prisoners."
