"𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐲." Thomas greeted as he walked into the Parker's apartment with some shopping in his hands."Oh Thomas, how good to see you." May said as she greeted the Sergeant with a warm smile.
"I got you your shopping." He said as he put the bags he was carrying on the kitchen counters.
"Oh you shouldn't have. Thank you though. But don't do it again." May said smacking Thomas on the arm jokingly.
"Where is Pete?"
"He's in his room."
"Can I go see him?"
"Of course, you don't have to ask."
"Hey Parker." Thomas said as he popped his head into Peters room.
"Thomas!" Peter said happily as he jumped up and gave the older man a quick hug.
"How have you been?"
"I'm doing good. What about you?"
"Yeah, I've been good. What are you doing?" Thomas asked as he pointed to the paper on Peters desk.
"Oh just some maths homework. I'm normally good at it but for some reason my brain has just stopped working."
"What are you struggling on?"
"I can't remember the quadratic formula."
"It's: (-b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a." Thomas said as he wrote it down on some spare paper.
"Thanks."
"No problem." Thomas smiled. "Whats this?" He asked as he spotted some equations on some paper.
"Thats nothing." Peter chuckled nervously as he hid the paper behind his back.
"It said Web-Fluid. What type of Science experiment is that?"
"I uh, it's for my friend Ned."
"Mhm, sure." Thomas smirked, he was going to say something else but his phone went off.
'New Mission.'
"I've got to go now Pete but it was nice seeing you." Thomas said as he gave the younger boy a hug.
"Yeah, you too."
"I better not see you swing by my window." Thomas chuckled before he walked out of his room.
"This is not a drill. We are under attack. We are under attack."
Thomas smacked away a soldier with little effort, sighing in annoyance when he sees a couple of soldiers make their way towards him.
The sergeant shows no passion or anger, or really any emotion at all as he made his way over to the group of HYDRA soldiers.
He makes his way to one of the soldiers and his fists clutter on the enemies face causing him to fall and hit the ground hard. Thomas' hands reach down and grab him by the collar and pulled the unconscious soldier in front of him acting as a human shield stopping the incoming bullets.
Fear radiated off of the HYDRA agents as Thomas made his way towards them. He quickly retracted his hand when he felt the cold metal in his palm. The gun was no longer in the agents hand.
Thomas quickly shot the agents surrounding him till there was only one left. There were no bullets in either of their guns. They now had to rely on their strength. Taking a couple steps forward The HYDRA agent started swinging his fists. Thomas hit the agent under the jaw, and he stepped back as the soldier tried to hit Thomas back.
