"𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 since Thomas Miller has gone missing." A news reporter said. "However some sources say he's dead."Thomas and Natasha had found an apartment in New York, which they recently moved into. The two wanted to get out of the city but since they were both classed as 'dead' or 'missing' it was nearly impossible.
The couple hadn't fully settled in and there were boxes that littered the rooms within the apartment.
Thomas was sat on the make shift sofa watching the tv whilst Natasha was in the kitchen. The two were taking a break from moving and unpacking all the boxes.
"You still watching the news?" Natasha asked as she walked into the living room and sat down next to Thomas.
"Yeah, Sam was on it a minute ago. Or should I saw the new Captain America."
"The shield suits him."
"Sure does." Thomas said with a smile. "He looked like an angel as he floated to the ground."
"Seems like you've got a little crush there Miller." Natasha smirked.
"Very funny." Thomas smiled. "What about yours on Wanda?"
"I don't have one on her! I'm just worried about her."
"Mhm." Thomas teased. "Is that why you can't stop talking about her?"
"With all that went on with 'the hex' I just can't help but wish I could talk to her and see if she's alright. Or at least know where she is."
"I know. But she can handle herself. If you really want to see her, you can. I know she won't tell anyone you're alive."
"I can't risk it. But I'm still going to try and figure out where she went."
"Okay." Thomas said softly. "What you got there?"
"A peanut butter sandwich." Natasha replied as she took a bite. "And no you're not having any."
"But-"
"No. If you want one make it yourself."
"Jeez. What's got you so moody?"
"I'm not moody I'm hungry."
"No shit." Thomas chuckled. "Is there any other food in the kitchen?"
"No, one of us needs to go shopping later."
"There must be something." Thomas said as he stood up and headed into the kitchen. He looked in all the cupboards and in the fridge as well as the freezer but there was nothing.
He walked back into the living room and sat down onto the sofa with a huff.
"There isn't any food." Thomas sighed.
"Thank you captain obvious, it's as if I hadn't told you that already."
"Well, sergeant sarcastic I thought there maybe some fruit."
"I'll go out to get some food later."
"I can go now if you want?" Thomas suggested.
