"Mom, no. This is not fair! Not even twelve hours ago you agreed and now you are coming up with ridiculous conditions" Jungkook argued. The first thing in the morning he does is attends his 'meeting' with his beloved mother.

Mrs Jeon did not want Y/n to be her daughter-in-law, cause apparently, Y/n doesn't have a 'rich' background and she works as a teacher in some kind of local school. Or that's what Mrs Jeon thinks.

So she thought that maybe, just maybe if Y/n would cancel the marriage herself when she would find out that she has to leave her job and passion for teaching for this marriage. And let's just say, the meeting was going in her favour.

"Jungkook, I said what I had to say. And what's so hard in leaving a job that gives you pennies when you get to live freely in a mansion." Jungkook's mom said while making coffee for herself in the kitchen.

"But why mom? Just why? Why are you making her leave her passion for this marriage?" Jungkook said in pure confusion.

"Isn't it clear? She works at a god damn random school that...I haven't ever heard the name of. I mean, look at your reputation, our reputation in front of the world. She'll destroy all of that if she introduces herself as a teacher at a local academy and your wife."

Jungkook raised his eyebrows at the bitter truth that left his mother's mouth without her intending to. "Well, it's for your own good as well. You see, if you both are going to work, then how will you give time to each other?"
"And I would like to have a daughter in law who would help me in some house chores..." she tried to cover up but Jungkook was smart enough to get the hint and snap his head towards her.

"What do you mean helping you in house chores? We have so many maids in this house, why do you need HER to help YOU? You have so many personal maids and all...." Jungkook said widening his eyes and waving his hands in the air dramatically. 

"Ugh! Fine. Tell her to leave that job for a while. She can join later." Mrs Jeon finally gave up. "Later? Later when?" "When the time comes..." Jungkook stood up, still unsure of how and what to say to Y/n.

"Aagh! Forget about this marriage Jeon. If she lets you go alive after this, you are lucky." He said to himself while leaving the house.

Time Skip -  Later that day

"WHAT THE HELL?!? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" "Y/n please, please. I know it's stupid but please."

Jungkook was at Y/N's house to spend the night together so they could talk and spend some time with each other as it was the weekend as well.

Jungkook just told Y/n very calmly what his mother said but Y/n wasn't having a bit of it.

"Jungkook no. You know how much I love teaching and I love to be independent. I don't want to be a burden to you with all my expenses and stuff just because I'm marrying you." Y/n said standing up from the couch in the living room and walking towards the bedroom with Jungkook following.

"You never were, are, will never be a burden to me. But please, for the sake of this marriage, my love. Please, I promise you can rejoin later. And they will for sure hire you again, after all, you are their best teacher." he slightly smiled.

Y/n plopped on her bed and sighed. "I just don't understand the reason behind this. Why?" Jungkook genuinely felt bad for Y/n. "I'm sorry for putting you in such a position Y/n."

Y/n looked up at him, frowning while sticking her bottom lip out. Jungkook imitated the same expression and tilted his head.

"Fine! I'll think about it." "Yayyyyyyyy!!!!" He practically threw himself on Y/n causing her to fall on the bed and groan. He started pecking her all over her face causing her to muffle out a small giggle. "You're the bestttttttt!!" He cheered.

"I'm not marrying you if you don't get off me the next second." Y/n deadpanned and Jungkook immediately got off of her. He bunny smiled and nuzzled their noses together as Y/n returned the smile. "I love you" "I love you toooooooooo" Jungkook dramatically replied and cuddled Y/n to sleep.

A few weeks later~

Y/n stood in front of the mirror, checking her final look. She exhaled sharply as her hands started shaking due to nervousness. She was standing in the Bride's room, looking like a doll in her white gown and natural makeup with her dark hair curled.

Today was the day. The day she would get married. The day she will officially be Jeon Y/n.

Yes, she agreed on quitting teaching for a while. It wasn't in her hands. She always knew she would have to sacrifice something. Love is never easy. It is complicated. It makes you do things that you never in a million years would've even thought of doing.

Well, it's not that bad. She will be getting married to the love of her life, what else would she want? Many people are not lucky enough to get married to whom they want to.

In conclusion, she can do anything for Jungkook. And she proved that to Mrs Jeon. Talking about Mrs Jeon...well, her planned horribly failed when Jungkook told her that Y/n was ready to leave her job.

*knock knock* Y/n looked at the door seeing her father standing there. "May I come in." "Sure." He came in and closed the door.

"Wow! My princess looks so beautiful! Like an actual Disney princess." Her father said causing her to laugh.

"C'mon dad. It has been so long since I told you that." "Some things never get old. Like memories. I still remember vividly how you asked me if you can be like Cinderella on your wedding day. Now, look! You look like her. Probably more prettier than her."

Y/n shyly looked down. Her father kissed her forehead, feeling emotional all of a sudden. "I'm so sorry Y/n, I couldn't give you everything-" "No, no dad. Don't cry! Your love was and is more than enough for me."

He looked at her with adoration in his eyes. "You have been raised well." "Not surprised by who did." They both chuckled and went to go down the aisle.

Just before they were gonna enter, Y/n's father spoke. "I agreed to you both marrying because of you. I see the love you have for each other. I am trusting Jungkook. If a single scratch-"

"Calm down dad. I'm gonna be okay. He already takes a lot of care of me and will because he loves me too much. After all, I'm Kang Y/n." Y/n said trying to lighten up the mood.

Both father and daughter walked down the aisle with Y/n's hand holding her father's arm. To say Jungkook was mesmerized would be an understatement. He was drooling over Y/n's beauty. He could already feel his eyes getting wet just by seeing Y/n smiling at him.

"Take care of my princess Jungkook. I am trusting you." "I will not break your trust." He replied, looking at him straight in the eyes.
