Nighttime 🌙

Y/n saw as Jungkook came and plopped on the bed, exhausted. "Welcome home." Her voice brought Jungkook back to reality, he is married now. He immediately sat up and straightened up his posture.

Clearing his throat, he greeted back. "Hey. How was your day?" Y/n could sense the awkwardness in his tone. She leaned forward and kissed Jungkook, to which he, of course, kissed back.

Pulling away, Jungkook frowned. "W-what was t-that for?" He was feeling flustered for no reason at all. "What do you mean? It was a welcome kiss."
"Well, I wasn't expecting that..." He chuckled, still nervous. "It's gonna be in our everyday routine now. Get used to it." Y/n winked at him before pouring him a glass of water. "Thank you."

"How was your day at the office today?" "Very tiring to be honest. I have never done this much work in a day." Y/n hummed. "What about you?"

"Very boring. After breakfast, all I did was sit in the garden. Your mom- wait! I thought I was supposed to help her in the "chores". But she said that she has been requested to not make me work on the first day-..."

"That was you wasn't it?" Y/n spoke after observing the smug and goofy look on Jungkook's face. "Wha- you should be thankful. Don't look at me as if you're about to kill-" Y/n jumped on top of him before he could continue.
"Do you have any death wish?" "Woah! Calm down!" "
"What do you mean 'cAlM dOwN' ?! Do you know how bored I was? No! no! no! Cause you were busy at work while I was rotting in here! Ugh!!!!"
Y/n hit the bed at the side of Jungkook's face.

Jungkook rolled over causing him to get on top. He then hugged Y/n while she pouted at him. "I am already missing going to school. I want to get back to that routine..." Jungkook hid his face in her neck. "I'm so sorry Y/n-ahh" he whispered.

"It's okay, it's not your fault anyway." "Thank you." Jungkook pulled himself up and supported himself up with his hands on the sides of Y/n's face. "Did you have dinner?" He asked to which Y/n shook her head. "Why not?"

"There was a salad at dinner. I don't like it." Jungkook smiled at the sulky Y/n knowing how big of a foodie she is. "Yahh!! I'm not a goat who eats those leaves!!!"

She narrowed her eyes at Jungkook. "Did you eat dinner?" "Nope." After a moment of silence, Jungkook raised his eyebrows and said. "Wanna go out?" "I fell too lazy to get ready~" Y/n whined. "We can buy take out and eat in the car?" Y/n nodded her head vigorously.
The next morning:

Jungkook woke up next to...no one. Where is Y/n? He thought. "Bub? Y/n?" He checked the time and it was still early in the morning.

Running downstairs he heard sounds from the kitchen. He went there to see Y/n cooking something. He back hugged her, startling her. "Why did you wake up so early?" "O-oh. Your mother sent a maid in the room. She wants me to make breakfast for everyone today."

"Hmm..." He said feeling drowsy.

Days went by and the workload on Y/n started to grow more and more to the point that she couldn't stay up at night for Jungkook. She got so exhausted by the end of the day that she would barely eat dinner.

Jungkook did notice her behaviour but he thought she was generally tired. He wasn't aware of how much stress and anxiety was Y/n going through with tiredness.

He missed her very much and so did she but they were too engrossed in their work to feel and make an attempt to spend time with each other. 

Y/n was aware of the unfair treatment and she tried to confront Mrs Jeon but it all went down to drain. She thought she was supposed to help her. Not do all of the work by herself.

She didn't want to sound complaining to Jungkook so she tried to cope up with all the hectic schedule and work.

How long do you think they won't talk to each other? How long would Y/n keep everything to herself? They knew that if they talk to each other, they will most probably lash out all their stress. Which can lead them into a fight. And fights are never good, right?
