𝐙ymeir looked down at a sleeping Kafeyah and smiled. She was tired and decided to take a nap before dinner would be ready.

He slowly got out of bed so he won't wake her up, and slipped on his slide before going down the stairs where he met both of his grandparents discussing in the kitchen.
" I know nana, but ian' hea' fa' that" he chuckled
" Then what is it?" she inquired
" So i'm letting y'all know right now. Kafeyah has an eating disorder, meaning she don't eat a lot of food. So please don't force her to eat anything. Ion' like tellin' her business out but i feel like y'all should know since y'all nice enough to let us stay hea'." he said
" Oh baby it's alright, we're not going to force her to do anything she don't feel comfortable doing" she reassured him.
" Thank you nana" he smiled before bringing her in a hug.
" Well since you're here, how long have you two been dating? And Erik get out my kitchen i'm catching up with my grandson" she shoved him away as he sucked his teeth before leaving.
" Well we're not officially dating because i haven't asked yet. But i feel like we don't need a title over our relationship because to me she my girl and i'm her man." he shrugged

" Then what's the point of not asking her? Y'all youngins is really different" she shook her head " Back in the days, when me and your papa first met. He had to bring me home safe from school, take me on dates, respect my father and uncles before they even let me date him. When we dated it was to marry not to fool around" she explained
" It's a little too early to talk about marriage, but that's definitely something i wanna experience with her in the futur" he put emphasis on futur. " But overall you right, a girl like her deserves the world and that's what i'm going to give her" he nodded
" Well i hope you do because she seems like a very nice girl. Well i'll pray that you two will experience marriage and kids one day" she smiled
" Me too" he smiled thinking about the day Kafeyah will eventually have his kids.
" Have you two said 'i love you' to each other yet?" she asked leaning on the counter.
" Nah not yet nana. Ion' wanna rush things. I really really like her like on a whole nother' level, but i really want to take my time."
